James, I am not one to comment easily, but after noticing an exceptional panel gauge peeking out of a box during the walk, I could not resist. I cannot begin to explain how extremely jealous I am as a South African hand tool user. The wealth and choice of tools available to you guys in America is mind boggling. I mean, we can find stuff here, but it is difficult at best. Furthermore the quality is mostly sketchy or the tools are in bad shape. I would give anything to walk through a tool meet like this with a bit of green in my pocket. Anyway, you are not allowed to complain about tools, ever. Please enjoy what is available to you on my behalf.
Jacktown in Bangor, PA. is next weekend (5/18-5/19). Last weekend was Zagray in Colchester, CT. (see Bob and pick through his .25 cent tables!) and C.A.M.A. in Kent, CT the weekend before. They all have events throughout the year and my truck always goes home a little heavier. Several other UA-cam folks make videos about these shows and it always amazes me what can be found and at great prices. George
@@WoodByWrightHowTo Sadly I won't be. I'm on a music tour on the west coast until the end of May, then intermittent travel through the US during the summer, with a different act, then in Europe for most of the fall. But I am planning a trip to Liberty Tools in Liberty, Maine this summer when I am home on a break..
18:30 I have been looking for a demonstration slide rule like that for a bit now. I am not sure how I would have gotten that home though. Think it counts as a single personal carry on?
I hear ya brother, I recently picked up a stanley45. it was frozen up, but I got it working, just need a couple screws, the strip blade, and a knicker. I keep getting outbid on fleabay. But in july we are headed to PA, and will be about90minutes from that tool shop in ohio.
Are there any other tool meets/flea markets in MA/NH that you could pass along to me? I’ve been asking around and searching online but haven’t found any, i’m surprised I didn’t see any advertising for this event. Thanks.
Most of the tool events are just with the tool collecting organizations and so you have to be a member to get an invite. This one was hosted by mwtca. If you want to see a list of every place I know of to buy hand tools check out www.handtoolfinder.com
I put on an email every other week with upcoming tool meets if you want to stay in the know or you can join mwtca and they send out invites to all of the tool meets. There's quite a few of them up this direction.
The auctions are run by a couple different companies. But the tool meets are run by different collecting associations. You generally have to remember to get an invite. This one was hosted by the mwtca. If you want to find one near you or more information check out www.handtoolfinder.com
I appreciate you trying to show as much as you can but haste often makes waste. I would rather see half as much shown more slowly so we can actually look at what's there rather than have you run up and down the isles. Having said that, I enjoy your tours and never miss one.
I usually try and do a live video where I can go slowly. Unfortunately the internet connection was too crummy for that. And I can't upload a long format video going slowly. So I try and do one of each but unfortunately I couldn't do a live here.
Yer killing me James, you walk right by all of the Hollows and Rounds. Those of us in the southwest are lucky to see such treasures.

Thanks for showing us this event, James. Right here in my neighborhood and I had not known about it.
Are you going to be here today or tomorrow?
Actually,@@WoodByWrightHowTo I've just decided to swing over there this morning. (Saturday) Hopefully, I'll have a chance to meet you in person.
Good to meet you!
I had no idea this was there... need to remember it for next year. This is less than an hour and a half away from me!
Very good, as ferramentas também expressa a cultura de um povo, foi o que percebi 👍👍👍
Thank you James!
You can't fool me into believing New Hampshire is real.
He’s in Brookline. Some of us consider that northern Massachusetts! 😂
Great job. Thank you 😊
Oh man, this is a 3 hour drive for me...I could go to this tomorrow...
We have it going today and tomorrow.
I would think I arrived in Valhalla. All those antique tools. So much beauty in the old hand tools.
If you want to find one near you check out www.handtoolfinder.com
@@WoodByWrightHowTo I did not soon but I bookmarked it. Will do some looking in AZ for something like it.
Arizona is kind of hard. It's a bit of a tool desert
É fantástica a variedade de ferramentas antigas.
Muitas dessas ferramentas mostradas no vídeo para nos aqui são raríssimas

@@WoodByWrightHowTo James, I just emailed you "List of 7" in the subject line.
Figures that this is only an hour from where I live, and I'm in Portland, Oregon for work. Looks like fun. Thanks for sharing
Are you going to be at the best in the west this fall? It is a 3-day tool convention and this year it's in Seattle

I need a left side fence for a stanley 55 please. And a screw for the skate to lock the adjuster in place.

Я клянусь, если переместить этот рынок в СНГ, то не осталось бы даже столов, на которых лежат эти вещи. Даже пикапы у продавцов бы повыкупали.

How much is that humongous slide ruler and is it a advertisement sign? Lots of awesome stuff. Wish I was there.
Yes that slide rule is a advertisement.

20:45 is that a Stanley 46? or a first run stanley 45? the blade seat appears canted, so 46?
That was a 46.
Did I miss the one in Athol ? Or Starrett? 😢
Yes that was a week ago.
…how much for the whole lot?!
It so quick show I become dizzy
