The problem with cordless tools is the ecosystem… being so late to the party and having no compatibility with existing batteries means they’ll only appeal to customers starting out. And I’ll doubt they’ll match “City in Wisconsin” for durability and quality. Good luck to them, all the same.

@@gregmottram292the converters are more problems than they are worth, I have a mix of Dewalt, Ozito and now Makita. They add 40mm in length and the locking system they use is marginal.
I cannot believe Dewalt and Stanley being the same company don’t share the same battery footprint?

Most brands including Milwaukee are made in China now. Much easier to upset the industry when the quality of the top brands is mostly on par. I do agree though, most of my home stuff is Ryobi as I prefer their garden tools so i'm locked in with them.

I love my 33pc Kincrome 1/2" drive socket set. Few years old now just as they were introducing their Lok-On socketry. Also their pnuematic 1/2 mini (not stubby) impact wrench thats 1.3kg & spins 11,500rpm. Try beating that with a battery impact 😅. Light, nimble and super fast. I have 7 tool truck pneumatic impacts and the little composite kinner is muh favourite for general auto use.

Kincrome have worked closely with Silverline in the UK for many many years, hand tools, storage etc etc, this is where this range comes from - look it up. Remember that Kincrome don’t actually make anything, not saying that’s bad, they are a great Australian family owned company, it’s just a fact.
