- 2 hours of relaxing Slow TV at the dog beach in autumn. Hundreds of cheeky dogs representing a huge number of breeds. Shot at Hillarys Dog Beach, Perth Western Australia on Good Friday March 30, 2018.
Shot on Panasonic GH5 with Laowa 7.5mm wide lens in one single continuous 2 hour shot.
Yep... we were all watching to make sure that the guy picked up his dog's dropping.

I used to live on Dog Beach in CA. These people aren’t doing it right. Everyone seems to have “brought their dog to the beach with them,” rather than “taking their dog to the beach.” Seems like a small distinction, but it’s quite obvious to me that these dogs aren’t interacting with other dogs… are mostly on leashes… and are wholly dependent on their owners to have fun, while the owners are interacting with each other, strolling leisurely, and only mildly interested in the presence of the dogs. They have all missed the point. Every barking dog is corrected, every free dog is told to “heel,” (more or less), I haven’t seen one bottle of water, and I don’t recall seeing one toy. Most of the people walk past like there’s a concession stand nearby.
That’s just not how we did Dog Beach in CA. Is that really the best they have to offer man’s best friend? Let your dogs dig a hole or chase a tennis ball or frisbee into the water or down the beach. Let them explore, make a new friend, bark at a sand crab…. Literally ANYTHING besides being “such a good boy.”
This is Zuke’s favorite TV show! We’ve had many dogs and do have other dogs. But I’ve never even known them to even notice a TV screen. But Zuke loves watching “DOG BEACH” on repeat! 😎🐶
Thank you so much for recording this video! It’s the best video I have found on UA-cam that is not full of slow motion and music for my dog. It is a good example of dogs behaving well in a natural environment with natural sounds. We are using it to desensitize our, crazy autism, spectrum standard poodle.
theres a beaitiful ridgeback that is the most energetic of all @Robdonkerslot, its the spitting image of ours, Boodja, who we picked up in albany
Looks like great fun, but the problem can be the waves wash the dog poop out into the water quicker than you can get it picked up in your poop bag. Would be lots of floaters by end of the day. Yucky condition of a nice swimming beach.

This video is the best video on UA-cam! I loved it. So relaxing and fun. Just dogs playing on the beach. Loved every minute. I saw the drama with that puppy and the Australian cattle dog mix, and the chocolate lab poop shit lol! And every dog that came to say "hi mum! I'm on telly!!" 😂 Even my dogs enjoyed it too.
I think I will try and find a lab X for my next dog, my current dogs wouldn't be well behaved enough for a beach like this.
