Seems to me like so many churches and Christian organisations are not really taking notice of what is happening...behind the game, the play, rather than being part of it. I think too that many have been so concerned about the negative impact of social media that they haven't been able to see the positive impact as well as the possible positive impact. There is another issue at work here too - and that is the busyness of churches and Christian organisations. Unless this is a very high priority - and continues to grow with the trends...we are just running the wrong way. Having not just special people assigned to this but the whole pastoral team + the whole congregation...is important. All need to see that this is one of the main ways of relating and where love and truth is shared.
