I realized that the thing I love most about these type of videos from you is you have a great lineup of sketches to us up the paper. Thanks these are lovely.
I love these cards - they are beautiful. Your trick of using a thin black mat on everything just makes ordinary papers look special. I like how you take the time to add little details too, so they don't look like "charity" cards but very special ones. I make sympathy cards for Sick Kids Hospital in Toronto so some of these cards would be perfect with just a sentiment change. Thanks for the inspiration.
Jennifer Maddock Thank you! I appreciate your kindness. No matter who the card recipient is, I believe it’s important to always do my best work. I wouldn’t want someone thinking I just slapped together a card. I love that you make cards for a cause, as well. Thank you for your giving spirit. 🙂
These floral cards are beautiful. I love how you take a sketch one step further by rounding a corner, adding mats, or adding an embellishment. An extra bit of you in every card which I am sure the recipients appreciate.
Wow it's just so amazing how you were able to produce so many nice cards with little to no waste at all! I loved all the cards and the effort you put into them for charity. Susan
Love it Kristie - its so inspiring to see how you really can work with any paper pad and make beautiful cards from them - thank you for sharing - some ideas for masculine cards from a paper pad is Carta Bella Work Hard Play Hard, My Minds Eye Hey Mister and Authentique Rugged
This Recollection pad had some really pretty floral patterns in it. Our local Michael's cut way back on their cardstock and paper pads after changing their store around. That's the one thing I could always count on is finding a great assortment of pad sizes too. Love all the cards and keep on making more people happy receiving all your wonderful cards. Have a wonderful Weekend Kristie!
Roxanne Tucker Thank you! It really is a lovely paper collection. Too bad your local Michaels cut down on the paper crafting section. It sure makes it difficult for the card makers and scrapbookers. That’s why I buy most of my craft supplies online. I hope you have a great weekend as well! 😊
As always great video! Thanks for the inspiration. Speeding up the video 7 times is much better than the other videos sped up 10 or 13 times, thank you for that...:)
Christina Morin Thank you! I appreciate your kindness. In my earlier videos, I was trying to keep the videos under 30 minutes. But many people requested I slow them down so they could follow along easier. I’m always working to improve my videos. 😊
Thank you so much for using a paper pad from Michael's...I'm going there tomorrow and will look for that paper pad so thoughtful of you for thinking of us this way... I have cards to make for three ladies and this would be perfect to make a set of cards.....tfs
Terrie Rodrigue You’re welcome! This is a really lovely paper collection and I enjoyed using it. I’ll definitely try to include more local paper pads in the future. 😊
I love them all! I needed this kick in the pants of inspiration today. My florist "partner in crime" (ha ha) always wants a couple dozen Mother's Day cards to pair with her arrangements and to set out on the gift shelves. I also send out 30-40 Mother's Day cards of my own. I have 20 done and definitely need more!!! Thank you for unknowingly being "exactly what I needed." Happy Friday to my creative friend ♡♡♡
Tracy Tracy Thank you! It sounds like this paper collection would be a perfect choice for you. That’s definitely a lot of Mother’s Day cards. How very kind of you to send out so many. 😊
Aw, you thoughtful dear, to consider that some might not have access to the papers you've used, and do one with papers from M's. As usual, all the cards are lovely. And, you've made me realize that I have a lack in my stamp collection--round sentiments. Shopping again, it seems, lol. Thanks for another great video, & have a great weekend. :o)
Cards Classic or Cute Thank you! I know there aren’t very many craft stores around anymore. I order most of my supplies online. I decided to look for something that is available to a lot more people. At least in the US. I use a lot of circle dies for my sentiments, so I like to find stamps that work well with the circle dies. I love the Circle Wishes set from Reverse Confetti. 😊
I really like circle sentiments too. I've seen so many really neat ones that Kristie has I started slowly collecting some. Its really nice when your mass producing for a project like these. God Bless!
Angela Fishburn I use far more sentiments than stamped images, so I like to have a nice variety on hand. Reverse Confetti has several sets that work great inside circle die cuts. 🙂
Cards Classic or Cute ...my closest Ms is 2 hours away. Not everyone has access to craft stores, as mentioned in other comments. Online is available to most.
Yeey! Cant get enough of ur videos😅 just did My First Cards a few days ago using an 8x8 pad - 24 Cards (5x7 big) and have a lot more paper left 😃 it was sooooo fun! Cant wait to make more - when im not sick
Papercraft Moon Thank you! 😊 It sounds like you are doing an awesome job turning a paper pad into lovely cards! Bummer about being sick though. I hope you recover quickly.
Kristie Marcotte ur welcome 😃🌸 Yeah it went better then i thought xD tried to go after scetches But desided just to do what i feel 😅 Thank u!🌸🙂 hopefully better soon
My favorites were MFT #80 and OWH 123. Of course I also love that coverup die. I really like that circle sentiment. It really gives the appearances of additional layers. This is such a beautiful paper pad. I’ll have to look for it. For masculine choices how about Authentique’s Frontier, Bo Bunny’s Game On or Carta Bella’s Passport?
sashabelle728 Thank you! MFT needs to stop making such fun cover up dies since I keep buying them. Lol! I just love the Circle Wishes stamp set from Reverse Confetti. I’ve used it A LOT! 🙂 Thanks for the paper suggestions. I’ll check them out.
Yes, Kristie I was able to get the paper pad ( as well as some others 🤓) , what can I say, I'm a crafter. 🤗 I'm trying to get the different measurements so now I can work till my fingers go numb 🙃😉 TFS your beautiful cards n great videos, I'm looking forward to more 😎☺️
Thank you Kristie for another great video. I just ordered some of the white cardstock you recommend. I received it yday & I love it. It's so sturdy & I can tell this is going to be my go to cardstok from now on. Thank you. ;0)
SannaS76 Thank you! 😊 The random winners were sophyamary, servane 1966, and velagelva. There were a lot of comments! I will definitely do another giveaway sometime. 😀
Julie Edwards Thank you! I rarely use 12x12 paper, but you could still use the same ideas to make cards. The patterns are usually larger on 12x12 paper. And you would end up with A LOT more cards. But it could definitely be done. 🙂
Kristie, you should've heard me squeal with glee when I saw you had another 6x6 paper pad video up!! Yipee! Every time I watch you I learn something new. I probably wouldn't have purchased this pad because there were many more solid color papers than floral. However, you... *ONCE AGAIN AMAZED ME* ... and showed me how a pad like this could still be made into multiple beautiful cards! I also really loved the songs you chose, as they were particularly peaceful. When I watch your videos, they're so relaxing, that I'm practically like a cooked noodle, sliding off my chair and onto the floor! Now that's relaxed!! lol. I've got a question. What cardstock paper weight do you use for your layering, like the black, for example... #65? What brand and weight do you use for your card bases? Thanks so much. Take it easy, sweet pea. MWAH! :-)
Karen Thompson Thank you! It makes me smile that you get so excited to see new videos from me. 😊 With busy floral designs, I think it’s perfect to have so many tone on tone designs. Helps balance out the cards without being too busy. My husband is the one to thank for finding music for my videos. He does a great job. I use different brands of paper for layering. The black cardstock is from the value packs at either Michaels or Joann’s. It is a 65# weight. The other colors of solid cardstock are usually a heavier weight and vary by brand. I use Accent Opaque Digital 100# cardstock for all my card bases. It’s a nice sturdy paper. 🙂
Teresa Rodriguez Thank you! I donate my cards to local charities and organizations. I would suggest retirement homes, churches, hospitals. There is always a need for handmade cards if you start asking around. I know there are also quite a few national organizations that collect card donations, but I’m not as familiar with those groups. 🙂
Wonderful video, as always! Question: Is the American Craft small banner die you use for embellishments part of a bigger set? I’ve tried to find it with no luck so far. Thank you in advance! Love your videos!
Teresa Tonn Thank you! The little banner die I love and use all the time is from a retired Project Life set from American Crafts. It is part of a larger set, but I mostly use the banner. I have seen the set available on Amazon in the US. It’s listed as Becky Higgins metal die set. I hope you are able to find it. 🙂
I love watching your videos. I came across them by accident and have now watched all of them. Can I ask what is the tool you use for the brass and where did you get it. Keep them going ❤ xxx
Gillian Powers Thank you! I really appreciate your kindness and support. Yay for happy accidents. 😊 The tool is from We R Memory Keepers and is called a brad setter/piercing tool. It’s super helpful if you use brads. I’ve owned it for many years and couldn’t tell you where I bought it. But it is available on Amazon in the US.
Pam Emmons Hello. I use Accent Opaque Digital 100# paper for my card bases. It’s a nice heavyweight paper. I buy a full case at a local paper store and have them cut all the paper in half for card bases. Then I score the card bases at home. I purchase my envelopes online from Heinrich. I buy a full case of 1000, so it lasts me quite awhile. 🙂
I realized that the thing I love most about these type of videos from you is you have a great lineup of sketches to us up the paper. Thanks these are lovely.
Gerriann Armstrong Thank you! I have always been a big fan of using card sketches. 😊
The last 3 were my favorite!
Beth Cook Thank you! It’s always fun to use MFT’s collage cover up dies. 😊

Roxanne Tucker Thank you! I really enjoyed using this lovely paper collection. 😊
How to choose a favourite when they are all beautiful! Great job as always!
Genevieve CreatedOnALark Thank you! I appreciate your kindness. 😊
You make the most beautiful cards and I love the way you use so much of the paper pad! You have inspired me to use up the huge stash of paper I have!
Annette McGinnis Thank you! I appreciate your kindness. Have fun turning all that paper into lovely cards. 😊
Debra Tunjian Thank you! I appreciate the kind words. 😊 Thanks for the paper pad suggestions. I will check them out to see if they’ll work for me. 🙂

How very thoughtful of you to donate the cards.
Beth Adams I make far more cards than I could ever use. It just feels right to share them with others. 😊
Thank you so much for sharing your talent on UA-cam. I learn something new every time I watch you🌸😊💗
Debra Lico Thank you! I appreciate your kindness and support. 😊

I like the way you use the busy floral paper. The cards came out wonderful.
Carmen Chiapa Thank you! 😊
Beautiful cards Kristie. I haven't been in Michael's in a while. I may need to swing in to see what new goodies they have.
Pamela Tetreault Thank you, Pam! It had been awhile since I had been in Michaels. It was fun looking at all the new paper crafting supplies. 🙂
these are beautiful, the first one is the one I like the best. I love watching your videos
Debbie Caldwell Thank you! 😊
Just discovered your channel. I love 6x6 paper packs. I will have to try this. Your cards awe so clean and simple...my favorite style.
Nancie Lively Thank you! I am a huge fan of using 6x6 paper pads, as well. 😊 Happy crafting to you!
WOW !!!!! Another amazing job !!!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️. I like your paper trimmer.
ruth08281 Thank you! 😊 I love my Tonic trimmer. The blade never needs to be replaced.

These really turned out lovely. All of your cards do, but these were just a bit more special to me. They are just so soft & peaceful, love it. Tfs!
Angela Fishburn Thank you! I appreciate your kindness. I really enjoyed all the lovely paper designs in this collection. 😊
Incredibly great cards. Now I know what I can do with all of the leftover papers that I have from paper packs that I haven't used.
Karen Gerek Thank you! It’s always fun figuring out ways to use up those small paper scraps. 😊

I too loved the floral, but I would like to see a video with masculine patterns... Thank you

Awesome cards! :)
Who were the winners of Doodlebug's Down on the Farm cards?
SannaS76 Thank you! 😊 The random winners were sophyamary, servane 1966, and velagelva. There were a lot of comments! I will definitely do another giveaway sometime. 😀
Happy hellos my favourite. Any masculine ideas would be great
Taylor Woods Thank you! I love the Happy Hello sentiment stamp. I will definitely be searching for a couple masculine 6x6 paper pads. 🙂
I love your inspirations. My question is can you get the same outcome using 12x12 paper pads?
Julie Edwards Thank you! I rarely use 12x12 paper, but you could still use the same ideas to make cards. The patterns are usually larger on 12x12 paper. And you would end up with A LOT more cards. But it could definitely be done. 🙂
