    I have a lot of the same hoyas as you and yours have grown so much more than mine. That grow box is really working. Love your videos by the way. It's fun to watch because your on the same journey as many of us and you get to share you knowledge and experience along the way, we can learn together .
    Keep it up.😊

      Hi Sherry! Thank you so much! Yes, exactly! So ppl can learn from my mistakes!!!😂 yes, the plastic boxes really help keep the humidity up but also be careful of it being too moist, you don't need to water it like you would if the plants were out in the open. Thx for your words of encouragement! Sometimes, i question if we should continue down this path but viewers like you help keep us motivate! so THANK YOU!!!! =)💚🌱

    Thank you for sharing your Hoyas. I’m trying really hard to get into them but so far I’m not obsessed, lol. You do have such a lovely collection. I’m kinda into monsteras and scandapsus. I’m just starting my plant tube journey although I’ve been gardening for a long time. I’m subscribing to you :)

      Its my pleasure! Hoyas for everyone! Yeah, I only get them through the mail. Monsteras are really cool. I only have three of those. I really like one scindapsus from Gabrielle plants, forget the name of it. I miss outdoor gardening, wish i could do both, you get to grow different things which is nice. I remember my favorite pass time use to watching the caterpillars eat all my veggies! 😂 Thank you for subscribing! it means a lot to us!!!💚

    You have an amazing hoya collection! My obovata wouldn't grow until I put it in a south window to get some direct sun than it exploded in growth even put out 3 or 4 Peduncles I doubt it will bloom this year now its getting cold in the pnw I only water when I notice the leaves closest to the base feels softer.

    Do you have a video where you talk about your plant set-up and what lights you use? I noticed some of your plants’ leaves are pretty close to the light so am wondering what light you have that you don’t worry about that! I’m interested to find out about your humidity boxes too! It looks like you’re growing in a mostly windowless room so I’d love to find out what you’re doing....

      ua-cam.com/video/GO5KEpPAFX8/v-deo.html this predates the boxes but everything else is the same. I got the boxes at walmart, the size worked out to be the best for my shelves. doug over at vermont hoyas and betsy begonia did a video on their propagation box set up and its a bit more sophisticated then mine. I can probably do a quick video on mines as well can compare the difference at some point. I still have two more hoya collections vids to get through first! 😂

    do you let the soil dry out completely for Kanyakumariana before watering? or it prefers to be moist like Bella?

    • @BotanicalWoman
      @BotanicalWoman  3 роки тому

      i wouldn't say it likes a lot of moisture but i did notice that is did well in higher humidity. this plant is definitely a bit finicky, i wouldn't move it around to much.

    • @BotanicalWoman
      @BotanicalWoman  4 роки тому

      hi, no! they don't NOT like to be soggy! each hoya is different but in general it is better to wait until it is dry before watering.
