I am very proud to Katie Wolf. I'm Hungarian, and I'm proud of him, because foreign people can sing the songs, but most have no idea what one is. Just like we Hungarians, who are interested in singing English lyrics. KATI proud of you! (Sorry if you do not understand compiler was compiled (for English-only home I'm - I do not know English!)
3rd: the English translation of the Hungarian part: "Ten steps, hundred steps needed Doesn't matter which way, just away from you What could you say, what yould I say We have worn out, where is the light from our eyes?"
After i saw the video i was certain it would win Eurovision but unfortunatly the performance left much to wish for! She seemed a little nervous during singing too but definatly the best song from Eurovision 2011, shame :/
It's a bit weird, that the Hungarian version has a definitely different story than the English one. The English one is about a girl, who has given up her dreams for her love ("What about my dreams"). The Hungarian one is about a girl who's love passed away and doesn't understand her own feelings, why they disappeared ("Szerelem, miért múlsz?" = "Love, why do you pass away?"). So this girl tells to different stories with one song, which is all right.
Düsseldorf megmutatta nekünk , hogy mennyire nagy hátrány magyarnak születni Európában. :( Düsseldorf show us , how difficulty born to be hungarian in Europe. :( Thanks for everybody who vote for our Kati!
For those who asked, why this song wasn't in top three, I have ann answer: As i know, a country couldn't vote for its singer (e.g.: Hungary - Wolf Kati). But in Europe every government dislikes Hungary (whether they admit or not), so they decided to block the votes from the half of Europe. They didn t leave the votes to be counted, according to my knowledge the phone connections were blocked. That's why Hungary ended up at the end of the list. Here everyone was very angry.
@isaacnm6 Just somebody will say: I'm from Spain and immediately all of you- hands up. What a dumb... I'm from Poland and I love this song!!! ;P unfortunately I don't speak HUNGARIAN (english too).
She was my favorite, Hungary was for me the ESC2011 Winner, but she does not sing very well in Germany, she must to sing in hungarian, she was very nervous. Too bad.
@lenn90 Ezt most komolyan gondolod?
this hungarian song and our austrian one, were under my personal top 5 for me!! but it didn´t happen, because theEUROPEan contest is only a big fake...
