This song brings one specific memory to me and it hits hard. I'm 15 and driving, my grandma is in the passenger seat and we are on the way to my mother's funeral. This song comes on. My grandma has huge sun glasses on and I look over and tears are coming down her cheek as the part "behind these hazel eyes" is sung. It always hits me like it was yesterday.

this song has plenty of autotuned vocals, especially the chorus! but I think it's used here more for the effect, rather than to mask any weaknesses. but this is definitley not a "raw" vocal, its definitley had some work done. and autotuned has been used a lot since the late nineties.

Kelly Clarkson did a superb performance in this video. She has an astounding vocal range. She is a top notch artist.
