Super Excellent @Andrea! This is very great.
I have tried to use 10m resolution DEM but still can't get the river since its a bit small 10 to 17m width. I wanted to ask, what resolution do end-up getting when you use this drone imageries?

Hello Gra, the end resolution with the drone depends on the altitude you fly your drone and the camera of the drone (model of the drone). I used to fly at 400m more or less and I get a resolution of 5-10cm per pixel. This also because I've an old drone (DJI mavic 1). It doesn't mean that a high resolution is automatically a good DTM. You can have a high resolution DTM with very bad data.

Hi MR. Andrea Cippa. Could you kindly help me appreciate hydraulic modeling the more by explaining to me the science behind this modeling. I appreciate your videos a lot and I'm learning a lot. you've made it more simpler. I'm new at this yet already enjoying it. I will be expecting your feedback Sir.

I appreciate your interest in hydraulic modeling and I'm glad to hear that you've been finding my videos helpful. However, I must apologize as I'm unable to fulfill your request at this time. While I strive to provide educational content, explaining the science behind hydraulic modeling in depth would require a more comprehensive approach than I can provide in a brief response. I encourage you to continue exploring the topic through reputable resources and perhaps seek guidance from a qualified instructor or expert in the field. Keep up the enthusiasm for learning, and I wish you the best in your endeavors.

Hi Mr. Andrea Cippa, Thank you for this video series, it has been very helpful for me. I have a small doubt that I wish to clarify with you, how did you get the sink.shp file? Is it the data you had from the 1st video from HEC-HMS? how did you convert this to a shp file? Thank you so much in advance.

The sink is the place where I wanted to know the flow. It is defined in HEC-HMS (ua-cam.com/play/PLFY4zB63z16Je85f9ZZ5tPJ6H5KfolHuZ.html). It is just a point where you have the full hydrograph. See " HEC-RAS part 1/10, Collect the information, DTM and river flow 0.58 sec"

@@AndreaCippa-Siteplanning Hello Mr. Andrea Cippa, yes I understand, however I am finding it difficult to convert the sink data which you copied from HEC-HMS to a shape file to insert it into HEC-RAS. Thank you.

@@rashmikahemaratne6386 Hello Rashmika. In the video "HEC-HMS part 2/8, Sinks, Sub basins and displaying it in qGis" ua-cam.com/video/fhTGU_HUxu4/v-deo.html at min 6.02 I've inserted the beak point (Sink). Once inserted, you can export it with GIS -> Export layers -> break points
