Literally a repeat of 2003! Top Thrill Dragster was featured on the Coaster Mania button which I still have! That was the last time we were at Cedar Point and it was only my second time at the park. First time was just three years earlier for Millennium Force. (I do LOVE Millennium Force) I vowed to return again but life got in the way. This year was going to be the year of redemption but I was distracted with another purchase which put this event out of my budget for this year (good thing). I know there are many great additions which have been installed and improved since then but we have unfinished business with Top Thrill Disappointment! Maybe next year! I sure hope so because I turned 70 earlier this year! Thank you for keeping us updated!

I got evac'd off of Steel Vengeance! That was probably the highlight of my day. As for the Q/A, I asked my question about revamping Steel Vengeance's line queue and it was completely ignored. I was hoping you recorded that outburst from that idiot that was there. He was throwing ice cubes at me about 15 mins before that and I had to relocate seats. You mentioned that this is the best park in the country but I dunno, I just enjoy my time at Kings Island so much more. I only got 2 night rides during ERT and I understand getting evac'd is going to throw a wrench into my plans, but KI just has so much more reliable rides and it makes all of the difference. Glad you and your group had such a fun time. I think I will go again next year!
kings island as a park is probably better but coaster wise they are just so far behind cp in my opinion. nothing stood out to me at KI
@@coastingalong Diamondback stands out to me. In fact, its better than most of the rides at Cedar Point. I can spend all day rotating between the front and back rows on that ride. The airtime on it is just more up my alley.

When I went a few weeks ago I was really amazed by how long daylight lasts for there, it was 9:30 and still light out lol.

Tt2 better be open this year! I live in Kansas and have planned a trip to go to Cedar point later this month. I spent the extra money to buy the Fast lane plus season pass all parks (because we still use a fast lane plus season pass at wof) so that I could have unlimited rides on tt2 so it better be open at least this year. Great vlog though, lets cross our fingers that it will open soon!

Awesome video - thanks! Absolutely loved the Steel Vengeance slo-mo! We're heading there tomorrow morning for a few days. So bummed that TT2 is still down, but I'm happy we rode it 9 times during opening weekend.
9 times is more than most people. I’ll be there for a few hours tomorrow so definitely look for me.

Fun video. If you like touring backstage, have you ever done the Progressive Field Tour? They are available many times a day and it's wallet-friendly.
I agree with Tony Clark on the flume ride. I'd love to see a dark-ride version of this, something like Escape from Pompei by Intamin (or Mack for obvious reasons, lol)

The straps on maverick are atleast better that the old ones I thought they improved it really well when they switched over to the current straps
The old ones were terrible, they still have those on some other rides like kingda ka.
Best way to experience is the VIP front of line pass. Got 17 rides in 5 hours including 3 on steel vengeance, 3 millennium and 2 maverick.
Coastermania was kinda ehh a little disappointed that the night had to end with Steve breaking down because of a bolt/washer snapping off the ride
We were literally right underneath the bolt. That said has it been confirmed that this was the reason?
Great video, This TT2 issue is a total disaster. Allegedly,, they are getting all new trains for it next season.
12:40 or 12:39 is us in the back of the train on magnum😎, 29:42.50 our backpack there on millennium😎, 30:06 us there in line for 10 SECONDS😎😎😎, also yes, we were the people you saw on millennium force.
All in all it was a good say..lots of ups and downs! 😁 ...

Hyperia opens back up tomorrow😎 after a problem with the lift. But also the largest lift for MACK rides. This is Zamperla largest coaster and also has troubles. So yeah...

Hi! Love your channel! I noticed you mentioned you were vegan in this video and a few others. As a vegan family staying a couple days at breakers in July, do you have any recommendations? I have been researching it and CP doesn’t have many options other than fries and the beyond burger. But anything else please let me know :)
They are one of the worst parks for vegan food now. There’s not even a place that has a beyond burger now. There’s a place, the smokehouse, where you can get a burrito bowl with beans, rice, guac…and that’s pretty good. And you can go to the pasta/pizza place up front and ask them to make spaghetti with just red sauce. They have to make it special though. There are also sides at places like farmhouse that you can get. They have a list of what is or isn’t vegan. It’s a shame how they have fallen so far.
last years was so much better. i think they sold more tickets this year than last. still had an absolute blast regardless

We sold our camera equipment a while back and mostly use an iPhone 15. We tend to shoot in prores log for most montage shots. Then we color and try to tinker with audio in post
overall it was a great day, i feel they oversold tickets a bit this year though, hope to see you guys around this season
what's your plan for keeping your food cool in the car during the day? do you use a cooler with ice? something that plugs in?
A small cooler bag with those frozen slabs that act like ice.
Are you guys going to do a fast lane video like last year and I am going to be at cedar point next week June 10 do you guys have any suggestions on what to do their.
We definitely plan to just have to find time to do it.

I was the clown who yelled at you on the train that I watch your videos. I live in Cleveland and have season passes and have a 15 year daughter who is addicted to coasters. I'm at Tommy's in CLEHeights every Thursday and they have vegan choices.
Been going to Tommy’s since around 91. Milo was just there today for dinner.

Not yet, almost for sure this summer though
TT2 is a pretty decent looking really expensive prototype of a lawn ornament at the moment and hopefully that changes before July 4th week.

I hear Magnum hurts the thighs at the last bunny hills. I'm going for the first time this August, but I think I will still try it as the last ride before I leave 🤔

Don't sit on the wheels - that's the secret. Whatever car you pick, sit in the middle seats. I'm 63, with a huge rod holding my hips together and I ride Magnum with no problems.

I hope that Top Thrill 2 reopens soon !! I'm going up to Cedar point on July 11th 2024 and again on August 27th and I'm hoping and praying that Top Thrill 2 will be reopened by then I hope so !!!!! That would be nice !!! Do u think that TT2 will be reopened soon ? I hope so !!!!!

Why are they working on the TT2 train seats I wonder……??? When the Zamperla guys gave you dirty looks you should have ask them…..what are you doing ? LOL
We’re not sure. The backs were off where they house the hydraulics for the restraints so maybe something with the locking of the restraints. Just a wild guess
@@BeachcliffStudiosSure seems like more work was needed on these new “Lightning trains” before they released them for purchase and use by Parks
@@MrHaaspaul they definitely weren’t the best design obviously. But a prototype train for a coaster of this magnitude can have some hiccups. The real test will be when they open back up is that the end of these issues.
I'm so excited that Millennium Force is finally getting a new lift motor! Probably no coincidence that they're doing it in time for her 25th anniversary next season. Hopefully, she also gets a repaint

Hmmmm before europa started winning it was usually cp. maybe 2018ish. Golden ticket isn’t very credible though so winning or not winning doesn’t mean a ton.
I finally rode Iron Gwazi, so now I can say STEEL VENGEANCE IS BETTER!!!

Definitely like Iron Gwazi better. Less painful on the knees, more fun, and more unique elements. Steel Vengeance is just ok, especially if you have thick quads.

Millennium won’t change the actual cable they’ll upgrade the motor. And the control panels are made by third parties not the manufacturers themselves.
And Mike did say they are talking with Intamin about it

I'm quite sure that the Q&A shut a lot of people up when it was said that S&S took over Arrow Dynamics. So all of those people who keep saying that the Corkscrew is at the end of Service Life? Guess What!! That goes for the other 4 Arrow Dynamics Rollercoasters.🎢🎢🎢🎢🎢‼️A maintenance question I would have asked is, Why doesn't the Blue Streak Trains have the 3 round Steel Bumpers at the end of each car# 4? They used to have them, just like what you'd see on Racer, and Beast? Guess Cedar Point maintenance thinks Blue Streak Trains won't ever have an accidental collision?🤣
