I thought the original one was cute, but this one is also good
Watched the first video and thought the same thing about the face. Then I clicked in the card that brought me to this video. When you "broke" the helmet it instantly gave me goosebumps. The nostalgia of seen the helmet broken in the exact same place that mine broke when I was a kid (I'm 44 now).... I can't describe the feeling. Thanks for sharing this video man.

I don't know if benny was the intended product but it looks badass either way and I would love to see the whole color range of blue, red, yellow, white, etc... done.

The helmet was perfectly fine before
People assumed that you made Benny from the lego movie originally and he has it cracked when the helmet was just prone to cracking in that way

Wtf man why did you break the heltmet, I mean Benny is a great character, but you had an 80's pretty classic spaceman, even though the final result is just awesome.
He did it to make it even better use your brain
So you made a regular classic lego space man and then turn it into benny from the lego movie
well really only the face makes him Benny, the broken chin on the helmet is pretty classic for them. It's why Benny's helmet was broken in the movie.
Probably because he was an old lego space man that no kids ever used to play

yes, its why I didn't build it yet, don't know where I would keep it.
But I am working on a smaller vehicle for him, hope to have a video soon.

I think there was no need for a crack the original space helmet didn't come with cracks
It did if you played with them long enough. It’s why Benny has a cracked helmet, it’s iconic to the toy.

it's Iconic of the space Lego helmets. The chin piece was so thin they always cracked. That's why Benny's is cracked in the Lego Movie.
