Thank you for being real about the process. And all your tips and advice. That’s so helpful to know how a journey to do our own thing looks like. I totally resonate with all you said and yeah the reminder that at times we feel like nothing is moving but then the next day the shift may come! They say that ‘luck’ means when opportunity meets preparation. So it’s about that work we need to do first. And loads of exploring and trying :)

💯💯 it's all in the preparation and doing the groundwork. Growing your network as big as you can 👌 Thank you for being here ❤️❤️

I definitely don't suit standard employment but currently working in a job as a kitchen designer whilst I build up my business on the side which makes it a bit more manageable.
With regards so marketing yourself I would highly recommend reading "They ask, you answer" by Marcus Sheridan it's a really informative book and makes so much sense for any size business 🙂

Ahh, we all do it.. comfort and steady life is safe. But as you know there's no growth if you keep doing the same thing the same way 👌 I'll happily be your sign 😊 and thanks for the support ✌️👍

I totally get the "not fitting with employment" thing. Took me a while to realise and accept it!

Right?! And life gets so much easier after you understand that. Glad you've found your place ❤️

And it's probably easier to change the client if it doesn't work out, than change the boss!

Or designing spaces with Feng Shui, low-key and dealing with people who are less demanding. Maybe including plenty of nature in your designs or to create spaces to relax. Are you into spas?

I don't think the pressures of our indsutry depend on the type of projects we undertake. The responsibilities and demands are as high for recreational spaces as it is for hospitality or workplace. It is just a tough industry to be in 👍

I love that: 'where your at doesn't determine how good you are' 🩷. Opportunity through referrals makes sense. Thank you for you realness and sharing. This came at just the right time. ✨
