You work so hard on these videos Jurijs, it’s greatly appreciated. This one was really interesting-great technical detail about your use of scale between the large and small bits of rock, and useful overview of your planting scheme. In the beginning wasn’t sure about the dragon concept with the manzanita wood, but once the scape was finished, it completely changed my mind. I hope you’re able to revisit this tank once everything has grown-in? Great work Jurijs.
Awesome scape! One of your best - if not the very best - yet. Please keep us updated if possible, because I know we all want to see it as it grows in. Lucky, lucky client! Thanks, Jurijs, for sharing your talents with us.
I like the style. It doesnt look like its trying too hard which is why it works imo. Very impressive scape. Would definitely like to see an update after a few months.
For sure a follow-up or two on this if its possible. Loving the details and the smoth and natural merge between the sand and the rocks like you said and pointed out yourself. Just go nuts and create! 👌👍💪😁🤓
Truly a masterpiece !!! I LOVE IT !!!! I would love to see a follow up video of how things have grown in. Truly a master at what you do Jurijs!!!!! And I love the name of it " DragonScape".
Wish you would list your products as far as what you use first on bottom of tank before adding any decorated drift wood and rocks. The starting list put on here would be awesome. Love the dragon tank.
Very cool scape. It is an unnatural looking scape but I think it's important to have this style. It just goes to show that anything is possible and that scaping is so diverse.
Wow! Nailed it with the name Dragon aquascape! You and George are masters at what you do! Enjoy watching your work and always pick up an idea or two when I watch your videos. Thank you!
@@JurijsJutjajevs The hardscape designs and tools u use for preparing the setup. Like the paint brush and also the plant prepping. All of it is very useful information for someone like me who is into aquascaping and kind of just starting out.
The whole process from beginning to the end of all your videos i try and study. The tips and tutorials i watch, to absorb as much information as i can so i can also use it on my aquascaping.
I really love this scape, I had an idea, what if you try to carve some sort of dragon scales here and there on the wood, I think that will help you to tell a nice story...
Jurijs....you have to make a video on managing co2 distribution with pro tips.... I mean what would be the use of setting things up beautifully when finally plants die due to poor co2 techniques that plague most people
I love how excited you were , in the post credit shot. Not really feeling the dragon scape, but maybe it will grow on me. Awesome accident of the rock, rubble and sand matching perfectly.
Dude, that turned out awesome! I’ll admit I was very skeptical at first but it turned out so cool! Very refreshing to see something different! You have to do an update on this once it is grown in!
I have used some of JBLs sands they are a great product. I really loved the hardscape on this one. In fact, i like everything about this scape. I think it's my favourite scape you have done. Nice one Jurijs!
Hi Jurijs, love the scape, the manzanita wood looks amazing and the dragon concept really works well. The graduation between the sansibar and the mini landscape rock is brilliant ,looks really natural. Definitely one to do a follow up on. It’s a shame the customer didn’t upgrade the tank,so many bad scratches in the glass which would really annoy the hell out of me, but when you don’t have the funds then i guess you have to make do with what you have. All in all a great looking scape that will look even better once all the plants mature. All the best,Martin
Thanks for sharing this aqua scape. I was surprised how far the hardscape was away from the backside, but it looks beautiful. Yes I would like to see an update on this aquarium. I'm curious how it matures.

This scape is great. I love how well sand blend with those rocks and wood (in terms of colors). It's a shame that he didn't go for new tank tho ( so many scuff marks on glass etc.), but I get it's client decision. You should definitely try something like this at home with proper tank and your ada solar rgb would be a killer :P
Looks great. I was thinking that you were going to chop up some moss to put on the wood. The scape should be call " Lost Time" with the dragon being ancient and the rocks, that show their breakdown.
Awesome video Jurijs, beautiful tank very dragon-like indeed haha! Definitely try it at home, perhaps do the opposite and do sand + wood in the middle, then the rocks and soil+plants on the outside perimeter. I duno, just throwing out ideas, could look like a grassy field with a "dragon fossil" in the middle or something Anyways I'm wondering if you could give some insight (here or maybe in a future video) talking about the sustainability and maintenance of the various styles of aquascapes. I've had planted tanks for many years but they were mainly "fish first, plants and scape second" type of tanks. Over the past couple of years I've started to really get into proper aquascaping, experimenting with a few low and high tech nature style scapes and most recently I've been planning and building a 150L diorama style scape, playing with trees, scale and depth. During this process I find myself looking at lots of scapes online for inspiration and plant selection and many of the most beautiful scapes I have seen happen to be contest winning scapes from around the world. However, the more I dive into it and really look at how these scapes are put together, the plant choice, plant placement, livestock, filtration, lighting etc, I'm struggling a little when I think about how some of these scapes will be sustainable in the long term. An example that I commonly see in many of these scapes would be placing classically higher demand plants in areas that are completely shaded from the light source or the opposite of low demand/slow growing plants like anubias/mosses/buceps/java fern being placed high and directly under the light source, with both these things often occurring within the same scape. Yet these scapes seem to have incredibly healthy plant growth at all parts of the tank, I mean when the parts of the HC/DHG/MC carpet that's completely shaded by a moss tree or an overhanging rock seem just as green and robust as the unshaded part of the carpet, I kinda draw a blank there. Thanks in advance, love the content, looking forward to more videos!
