    Great video. I am doing a very challenging high-tech aquascape at the moment. I have a mountain made of seiryu stone in a 1ft by 3ft tank and I too am looking at the same challenges when it comes to creating multiple perspective points that create a great dioramma. The advice he gave in the interview was quite outstanding, and I enjoyed the video. Mosses that do not attach, moving rocks, and the use of larger foreground planting, brown shrimp and avoiding slime - were all excellent points and great tips. I was surprised to see how the background lighting was achieved.

    Ein wirklich tolles Aquarium. Ich finde es immer wieder bewundernswert wie es gelingt diese Tiefenwirkung zu erzeugen, trotz dieser winzigen Tiefe von nur 40cm. I love the left side of the tank. Looks natural and wild. It's a bit of a clash of styles happening in the middle right that looks confused and out of place with the large open space and mountain style colliding with the forest style. Also, that line of uprights branches on the right looks a bit too formulaic and a thing we have seen too much of. It sounds like I'm critical but it's a very well executed scape. Clearly a talented and dedicated young man.

    • @winger178
      @winger178 5 років тому

      He is actually saying "sigaret filter" so no real secret there. You can buy big bags of (unused) sigaret filters really cheap. If you break open a filter you get a sort of dense floss, put that inbetween the two pieces of hardscape you want to glue together and drip on some super glue, the filter will act as a filler for the glue. and makes a really strong connection between two randomly shapep pieces. You can even add a sprinkling of baking soda before you add the glue to get an expanding effect and really fill the gaps!

    • @JurijsJutjajevs
      @JurijsJutjajevs 4 роки тому

      you have people who use massive biological filter media and dose more, and you have other people who almost remove filter media, or only use mechanical filtration inside the canister filter because as for biological filtration water changes and biomass inside your aquarium can do the job if the aquarium is stocked and dosed with nutrients accordingly. both works ;)
