This love theme from the "Titanic" movie is on p. 5 of Alfred's Adult Greatest Hits Level 2. The music was composed by James Horner and the lyrics by Will Jennings. This song was recorded by Celine Dion in 1997 and became her biggest hit and one of the best-selling singles of all time. --Norma

Reading how you classify your songs as “Elementary“
, “early intermediate“, or “late intermediate“, etc. is really helping me to develop the skill of identity buying the difficult to level of the songs that I’m study. Newline newline I am now going through all of my music and writing down an estimate of the level that is on
Some classify music by levels from Level 1 - 10. If you choose to use a number system, Levels 1-3 would be Elementary, Levels 4-6 would be Intermediate, Levels 7-10 would be advanced. And then of course you could label the numbers with Early-Elementary, Elementary, Late-Elementary, and then Early-Intermediate, Intermediate, Late-Intermediate, etc.
Music doesn't always line up perfectly with a specific category but it at least provides a starting point and a general guideline regarding the difficulty level of the piece.

just wonderful love this song... sounds like your piano could use a tune up. Middle c sounds off... However, I am just getting over a cold.... things sound different when you are not feeling well
Yes, my piano did need a tuning. I was hearing it also. My piano tuner was delayed in scheduling since he was sick. Tis the season, but I've since had it tuned and it sounds much better. Good listening skills! Norma
I’m learning this song and some notes don’t say the sharp or flats but your playing is beautiful and I watched this over and over just to learn and I’m listening to it while typing this. Your so good and I am learning this using the video I found all the notes so now I just need practice but your videos help me a lot. I’ve been doing Alfred’s so much now and finished a book. You and another pianist called Eniapiano helped me get through the book so a big thanks to you guys from me and I can just listen to it for hours. How long did it take you to be this good? I’m really wondering. I have subscribed for ages now too. Thanks❤️
You're very welcome! So glad that you've found the videos helpful! Well.....I started playing the piano when I was 7 years old. By the time I was about 15 years old, I could play Level 10 pieces but not well. It took a few more years to gain fluency and more skill. At the recording of this video, I had been playing for 46 years. But don't worry, it won't take you that long to play well at the "Early-Intermediate" level. :) --Norma

Is this the same from the popular hits in alfred level 3?
I checked my stock and I don't have the Alfred's Adult Popular Hits Level 3 book and it wasn't in the children's Popular Hits Level 3 book, so I'm not sure. But it is exactly the same as the Alfred's Top Hits Solo Level 3 book. The arrangement that I used in the video was by George Peter Tingley, so if his name is on your edition, then it's probably the same. --Norma

Yes, I'm still busy practicing and playing and teaching many students. I just got too busy to keep posting new content, but I do still monitor the channel and respond to comments. Thank you for your comment about "you play with lots of feeling". That was one of my goals to play even the simple songs beautifully and expressively. Just because a song only has a few notes doesn't mean that we can't still play them with good tone and expression. --Norma

No, I started piano lessons when I was 7 years old and continued until the age of 38, so I have had many, many piano lessons from about 5 different teachers. --Norma
