Canon in D, Pachelbel (Intermediate Piano Solo) Alfred's Adult Level 2

TEACHER DEMO. This well-known song is on p. 140 of the Alfred's Adult All In One Course Level 2. Originally composed by Johann Pachelbel about 300 years ago for 3 violins and a bass, this song has been so well-loved that there have been many different arrangements of it for single instruments or even a full orchestra. It is a favorite for weddings and elegant background music. It has been regularly used in movies, television, and commercials.
Most everyone will immediately recognize that pattern in the first 4 measures of: D, A, B, F#, G, D, G, A, which all the other variations are based upon. You could even create your own variations based upon that pattern.
