- Galot Motorsports Park, Test N Tune with a 28" tire race thrown in. Now this makes Thursday night drag racing very interesting. Let see if the new changes we made to Randy's hot rod help us get faster........But like always, we get slapped down and have an issue.....Can you guess what tore up this time? Not what I was expecting to happen today!

You were not the one who set that rear up either. The pinion didn’t break so the 28 splines may not have anything to do with why it failed. I would love to see you take it apart to see what’s wrong.
But the bearings sure are definitely gone and probably the case done too ., over 2500 hp lol just saying

I like fuel tech, but could be difficult to get parts soon with the flood they just had
Fueltech is problems. In their video they're constantly having to switch boxes and I know plenty who left Fuetech to go Holley but rarely ever hear Holley to FT.

Yup. It broke right upon lift at 1/8th mile on Pass 2, Rnd 1.
Gonna need a really built Dana 60 to reign in all those horse powers! Lol. Gigantic everything pure blue steel.
To tell the truth, that first launch in the oily surface and the side force it took after launch, may have put some really strange torque numbers to that small slice pinion, and actually hit it or wounded it slightly then took all that horsepower not on the softened low end, but on the later shift near the top end to finish it off.
Spline
The car kicked out, but once it snapped back due to his steering, and all that cars weight went down on left rear hook. Just guessing, but that was a lot of snappy torque on that third member from the axles.
They were testing a new gear and borrowed someone else’s non pro center section . Instead of 35 spline piñon it was 28 spline . The gears are also not as strong as the pro version .

The first thing I thought was that borrowed 3rd member broke when i read the title.. Holley Dominator even on my IRD blow through V30-128 Vortech 454 sbc setup. FuelTech is no go in my book. In their Dyno videos they are always having to swap boxes out due to issues and I know plenty of races who carry backup because of failure and would run it if not for sponsor. The problem with bracket racing, nobody wants to watch it. The NT no prep, NT No Prep Grudge, and Grudge is where it's at. I follow his sensors instagram.
So you've seen Fuel Tech vids of them changing boxes and decided it's a no go huh. If that's the case, do yourself a favor and dont get on the holley forums. You'll be putting fi tech on your car next week.
@@jdubcbr600 I have been on them, and over the years, I've not changed to another ecu. Since I left the BigStufd 3 now some years ago, I'm happy. To each their own. It it kind of like the Chevy Ford deal you bust balls. In that case, Chevy for the W.

I don't know anything about chassis tuning and I have never even seen this car in person, but it seems odd to me that every time this car spends the tires, it kicks the rear end out to the right. Most cars when they spend the tires staying a straight line. Again I don't know what it is I'm just pointing it out.
Rear steer is off.

Dude again. Buckle your harness. It shouldn't come undone after you launch the car..
Big elbows can cause that. Need to relocate the center buckle a bit.
That could be a real critical item 1 day soon!
