Very nice lure! I'm sure your channel will grow fast with these type of fine lure crafting. I suggest temporary bonding two wood sheets together before outlining the lure template. It will make the process faster and easier.
Hi Kam, thanks for the suggestion. At least for me, as shaping is still done with carving and sanding, it's still easier to manage by doing 2 halves before putting them together for final sanding. I will definitely take your suggestion when using a band saw to get the shape, as squareness can be maintained. Your suggestion tempts me to get a band saw and belt sander 😁
@@lureit yeah, carving soft woods like balsa is fun! I used to do it that way, one side at a time, when I had plenty of time to kill, lol Perhaps a fret saw could be a better fit for small balsa lure making.... but I'm sure you will start improving your toolbox.
Hi Niall, welcome to the channel. I got the mini clamp from Daiso, a large franchise of 100-yen shops founded in Japan. It has location in 25 countries, do check if there is any store near your area. Depending on your region, Daiso does sell online. Do try to search under “vise clamp” or “mini vise clamp”.
You can get more information on the item from the link below: daisous.com/products/4549131308648?_pos=1&_sid=efa5eb78b&_ss=r If you cannot get the clamp, you can also sandwich the lure with 2 flat wooden planks and placing a weight over them.

Thank you for the templet. Also i use free wood paint stick from home depot or Lowe's. Right size and thickness. :)
Great idea! 👍 Do experiment with the weights as different wood may change the buoyancy. Enjoy and have fun building! 🙂
Thank you so much for your videos, as well as for putting in the drawing of your wobblers!!!
Glad you like the videos. Hope you enjoy making the lures and fishing with them 🙂

@@kamarte I am sure the toolbox will improve. Recently, I found myself visiting hardware store more than tackle store.... Oh no! 😅
@@lureit there you go! Lol.... unfortunately, looks like it's already too late!..
Un saludo desde Cádiz España.

Isca artificial Ficou show demais
Очень красиво 👍👍👍
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed the video! 🙂
Hello! I was wondering what type of program you use to make your templates?
Isca top
Solid video. Thank you for the template.
Can you make a video of making a wobbler for asp (Aspius aspius ), like a SALMO THRILL?
Thanks for introducing me to Salmo Thrill. I don't have experience with asp, will start to study the possibility of making lure for this 🙂
@@lureit Thanks. Catching asp is very dynamic. It's quite popular in Europe.
@@GggGgg-dj2pr Salmo Thrill looks like a lure having tight wiggle action. Is that lure action characteristic for asp?
@@lureit Yes, that's right. Send a link to a video of the baits' actions?
