How is this even a debate? Percy could beat up any of those magical nerds
I mean a hermes gummy can make him immune to magic so theres no competition
Lies!!
@@peetaabread17 no
@@peetaabread17 Percy is a scrapper, he's quick to fight. Harry is timid and isn't as quick a fighter, on top of all of that Percy can control Liquids in General, it's not shown but given he can control Poison he can likely control blood, and on top of all of that, Percy can't be Disarmed and even if Riptide isn't in his hand it'll return to him, and to go even farther. Percy's brain is stated to be Hardwired for Combat, Harry's isn't... Harry would lose.
harry could just avada kedavra percy 🤷♀️
Oh man, tough one. No disrespect to Potta but my money's on Perry Johanson.
That's not right it's Peter not perry
@@jakemoor8438in i think the fourth book dionysus calls him perry johanson, even though it IS typically peter johnson
Same here ✋
@@soha4686 yep, you're both right. It's just that I've read the Battle of the Labyrinth the most times since the book was a gift to me, it must have stuck as Perry in my mind. 😅
@@vikashchaitram 15 SECONDS AGO
Harry can't kill, Percy can. Especially if the fight was during each of their primes.
Percy wins.
Harry definitely could kill. It's just that Harry is forgivable. If anything, that just makes Percy look bad, cuz he kills every now and then. Imo, it makes Harry look like a more real hero
To be fair Percy kills monsters that come back from the dead all the time, not humans, so I wouldn’t hold that against him 😂
@@Unclaimeddemigod That is true. I have read the Percy Jackson books once so I don't have the best memory of that series. My bad 🙄
@@Atrulionif percy has to fight demigods, he just incapacitates them, not kill
@@alliyanasgalaxies true, but i think the point is if percy or harry HAD to kill, percy could and harry couldnt
I feel that Percy has better stats than Harry and has faced stronger foes. I also have no doubt that Percy can dodge spells. If I’m remembering correctly when he was fighting Jason he dodged lightning and lightning( I’m pretty sure) is faster than spells.
Fair enough
facts
You should submit this request to Death Battle. If they decide to make it you would be able actually watch it because they animate the fights
I would love to see that it’d be epic
Honestly, once Harry is disarmed its all over, Percy can still fight even withought any weapons.
Plus if Percy had the hermes gummy Harry is basically done for.
In a fight without any magical items? Percy
In a fight with magical litems (from all books)? Still Percy
In a fight with the 7 and Golden + Silver trio? Id say the seven
Percy's got countless threats on his back, Harry only has Voldemort and his gang AND he gets to live happily afterwards with Ginny!
My 12 year old self came out with this comment
Interesting breakdown!
Plus, you can't disarm Percy, Riptide will always return to Percy's Pocket.
@@blumouse8539 especially since disarming is harry's #1 spell
I asked the Snapchat AI:
Q: Who would win in a fight, Percy Jackson or Harry Potter?
A: Oh, that's a fun question! Both Percy Jackson and Harry Potter are amazing characters with unique abilities. It's hard to say who would win in a fight since they come from different fictional worlds with their own rules and powers. But hey, it's always exciting to imagine epic battles between our favorite characters, right? 😄
Q: But if you had to choose?
A: Haha, I understand the curiosity! Well, if I had to choose, I'd say Percy Jackson might have the edge with his water-based powers and demigod strength. But remember, it's all just for fun and speculation. In the end, it's up to our imaginations to decide who would come out on top!
Percy wins!
(I also appreciate you briefly talking about the human labour rights issues AI use involves)
Well there we have it!
Harry would probably underestimate Percy in the first exchange, he would use expeliarmus on his sword, Percy would just keep running confusing Harry and he would pull his sword out again in close range and cut Harry’s head off. That’s if he’s going for a kill from the start, doesn’t really matter the location. That’s my personal answer. also Harry has no kill spells that he can use at any moment.
They have such different fighting styles that I can’t even visualize how their fight would go
@Unclaimeddemigod ikr...
Imperio maybe, Harry have use it in ministry of magic.
Was not expecting this video hahaha, love the concept
Thanks!!!
The difference between them is Percy can kill Harry cannot it is a hard question maybe ask Ai to write a fan fiction where: Harry and Percy fight and one of them wins the fight
Good suggestion!
This was such an great and interesting video. It’s always a treat when you upload!!
Happy to hear it 😌
I love your videos I'm new here and already loving it ❤❤
Welcome!!!
Obviously human opinions involve preferences, but, i have read both Harry Potter and Percy Jackson and i used to be obsessed with Harry Potter and even then nobody said that Harry would win a fight between the two and i think that's reasonable as even though Harry is an extremely talented wizard, it is never said that he had exceptional physical strength or that he is a good fighter(one-to-one, without spells). I think between Harry and Percy, one can easily say that Percy would win.
I would however like to see a battle between the Kane's and the wizards. Although even in those i think that the Kanes would win.
I also really like how you mentioned that you don't support AI taking over human jobs.
Wow, ChatGbt is really frustrating here. I tried this myself and after some tries manged for ChatGBT to write an energetic fight scene, that breaks about a dozend rules in both universes, but actually had a winner. So, it is possible.
Wow congratulations I literally couldn’t get it to give me an actual answer!
Its impossable to say. If Percy ist fast enough to dodge the spells or near the water, he would crush Harry but if he cant react fast enough, he will become destroyed. If Percy is able to control blood, he obviously wins. If I had to make a choice, I would go with Percy as winner I think. He faced way more, way stronger enemys
Good point!
Percy does possess superhuman strength. He held up the sky/universe in “Titan’s Curse.”
no cause even if you put percy and harry at both of their primes (final battle and last olympian) percy literally CANNOT lose because he has the freaking achilles curse. but their fighting styles are so different it's really hard to picture what it would be like. just imagine harry disarming riptide over and over again and then percy just trying to avoid the spells because both of them wouldn't want to kill each other even though percy 100% can in seconds-
Look as a son of Poseidon, Percy also has an ability to create earthquakes like his dad. So no matter where do you fight Percy- Good luck man. Most chances he would win in a fight against Harry. However, since I read both of their franchises I also know about the ability of Harry to use the unforgivable curses. Clearly Percy doesn't know about them. I highly doubt Harry will shoot the green curse because he is not a killer, but if he did Percy was doomed game over. He might Crucio him duo as a strategy. Or if he wants to be nice, Imperio him and command to surrender and leave.
Percy might be able to overpower the Imperio curse, that guys has strong power of will 💪🏻
@@Unclaimeddemigod So in that case, torturing Percy wouldn't help much either. Harry wouldn't continue to a point of insanity, so when the curse ends it would only piss off Percy much more.
If it was outside on a beach or something where Harry can keep his distance but Percy has the water, it wouldn’t be a fight. If they were both 17, Harry wins. Harry stays away from Riptide and strikes quickly, ofc not using Arvada kadavra bc he would never kill anyondirectly. He just uses pertrificus totalus and it’s over in a second
True, Harry wouldn't kill. I was more into Sectumsempra then Obliviate then used Transfiguration spell to turn Percy back into guinea pig.
@@AkaneRegal18 😂
Watching you calling out the ai was absolutely hilarious, and for the record, Percy would win "I want the fight, I want the carnage, I want the blood" -Unclaimed Demigod 2024 😂🧡
I stand by what I said
Harry
I may be biased since I'm the moderator of r/camphalfblood but not a single character in the Harry Potter verse can hold a candle to any character in the Riordanverse. Unlike Harry Potter the characters of the Riordanverse are diverse, welcoming, and not made a problematic terf.
that last one is very true
🍿🍿🍿🍿
The biggest question is if annabeth is there. I can easily see percy wanting to fight if annabeth goes missing and percy is tricked into believing harry did it. Then all my money will go on percy because he will use what he learned in tartarus to find annabeth
...That's so true
It was sad that they did not give a strait answer.
very sad
If the fight happened just after Percy's dip in the Styx, no contest. Percy. Really no contest at any time. Percy.
Hi 😊
Hello!
Let's not get any heated arguments here, this is all just for fun, just sharing my opinion here.
Personally, I dislike this question. I mean, it certainly is a question to ask, but what does it mean? If Percy would beat Harry in a fight, what so? Does that make the Percy Jackson series better than Harry Potter? I think it certainly does not. The power of a protagonist does not define the series's quality. Imo, Harry having less power than Percy just makes him more human and relatable. That means that Rowling did a good job of making him feel real, making us more immersed in the world, but still, having a protagonist strong enough to take down the Villain. I feel like people always say the Percy Jackson series is better because Percy Jackson could defeat Harry Potter in a fight, which I just think is kind of dumb.
Again! My opinion. No need for unnecessary anger (I'm trying to make myself clear on that point, because people get so angry for no reason).
I agree, the power level of a character has nothing to do with the series being any good, Percy has to defeat gods so it makes sense for him to have the power to do it
I don’t think we should start basing the worth of a book on if the protagonist could beat someone else up 😂
i like ur analysis on the question but for me its just to put my two favorite MCs and seeing who wins because i want the fights! just my opinion
Percy would win in a fight near water easy, but if they aren't near water Harry could fly above Percy and slowly kill him.
yeah but BLOODBENDING
I hate to be that guy (not really though to be honest) but there's always water around that he can use, even if it be the moisture in the air or even the water in Harry's body. Yes it's a bit brutal and extremely energy costing but Percy is powerful enough now to do exactly that. Also he's the son of the Earthshaker and Percy himself can cause an earthquake if needed. Yes you're right, Harry could fly but he can't do it forever and it's bound to rain eventually. And now I'm suddenly questioning why I'm spending my weekend night discussing which of two kids could beat up the other kid. 😂
BLACKJACK
yaaaas we love our sassy pegasus@@astoria4ever
@@LizaaFernandois that exist in Percy Jackson universe? I mean blood bending is from Avatar universe that i know
Percy manipulates the water to take Harrys wand away. Percy wins🥳
nice reasoning
Harry can use his magic even without a wand. A wand is but a thing to channel the magic from inside the wizard or witch, not their source of magic.
Wandless magic exists in the HP universe.
Percy negs bye
We all know... Poor Harry wouldn't stand a chance...
True, unless they are in the dessert.
There’s No Way Piss Pants Potter Can Lay A Finger On Percy
I would actually enjoy watching a hand to hand fight with no powers
Hi I loved your how to read vid two weeks ago i didn't put a comment on it because wouldn't think you would see it but I hope you see it now good good I also loved this vid keep it up👍
Thanks so much! I’m glad you liked the video 🫡
Variety says that Netflix is no longer adapting the Kane Chronicles into films
Sad but true, we’ll have to see if Disney picks it up
One woke shity pseudo adaptation less
@Unlcameddemigod I saw another article talking about how the project was not cancelled all together but just left out in the open for any production studio to take it up. I’m actually hoping Hulu takes it up, they are know to make adaptations well
I personally love both books, BUT I feel like harry might win
Harry is way too nice to kill him...
Are you saying Percy isn't? XD
Sorry Pottah but my money is on Peter

Goodluck Harry, but Pierre Jorgaenson is gonna absolutely devour you…
