  • The robots you know and love from science fiction are getting closer and closer to reality. Chen Feng, Assistant Professor of Civil and Urban Engineering at NYU Tandon, is exploring how we can use robots in construction and manufacturing - key economic sectors that can be improved by automation. In order to make robots like WALL-E a reality, Feng is developing machines that are aware of their own positions in space and their surroundings, and utilizing machine learning to improve their own perceptions.

Prof. Chen Feng is one of the best Professors of robotics and computer vision. Not only does he share a deep passion for the field, but he is also able to incite the same curiosity in his batch of students. It was an absolute privilege to attend his lectures and be a part of AI4CE lab. Kudos to him and his team!
