Rejected Split Screen Mode. Resident Evil Outbreak

You know, they planned offline cooperative split-screen mode up to 4 players for Outbreak and scraped it.
This is not an effect, trick or montage. This is command directly from game code. Strange thing is that calls works only for PAL versions. There's another way to make split picture in the code, but this looks less effective and real.

Except it's not... Split-screen refers to multiplayer functionality on one console. Capcom DIDN'T code it into Outbreak File 1 & 2 likely due to rendering limitations as well as NPC management. I mean... 007: Nightfire had relatively large maps for multiplayer at the time and could slit-screen four player games with bots that had different bot options that would effect their actions taken... But that's not rendering two different files. STILL! The most likely reason was to try and push sales. Your friends had to have their own copy in order to play with you... Get it? I was looking to see if the Outbreak games HAD multiplo split-screen... I have one, the first game, but have never played multiplayer because of that limitation.
