I’ve had mine, purple one for a week. Switched from iPhone (having been Apple team since iPhone 4). Still transferring my datas / moving from one system to another it’s not easy for me. Got it coming from iPhone 12 pro... Well seriously the flip is so convenient that I can't think of getting a slab phone now... At night I just put it in flex mode, keep on the bed besides me and watch a video without stressing my arms holding the brick the entire time.... It's like the phone is custom made for the consumers... I love it so much... ♥️♥️ BTW got it in the pink gold color, it's an absolute beauty ... No phone has looked so good in pink before, that matte finish just makes it look so rich. .
If I end up getting this device I'm holding you responsible. 😂

Don’t ever make the mistake and buy a phone solely based on UA-cam reviewers advice. They never use a phone like your average person; constantly switching phones etc…look at google, reddit, Facebook and other online reviews because those are real owners who are not paid nor driven by views to make money.
I’ve had mine for about a week now. I just wanted to try something new and different. So far it’s been pretty good. Love taking pictures in flex mode. X

Writing this from my Z flip 4. Great phone so far! And my first Samsung actually. I do wish it had dex, I can imagine myself using it. If next one will have it, I'll trade-in and upgrade.
I understand Dex is bad ass but if we only used the phone as main productivity phone and not having computer it helps a lot. Ounce I edit all my photos and transfer it too in a flashdrive with an adapter. Realized how advance Samsung is. Compared to iphone. iPhone is for young people and old people. Lol jk. But seriously Samsung is way ahead of it's game since Samsung s10

@@tanvera7901 I'm not coming from an iPhone, but other Android phones. I would imagine that the camera isn't as good, but I think it's great in general, and I don't really need anything beyond that.
If I’m not mistaken it doesn’t have Face ID, just facial recognition. I feel like that would be annoying, no?

Are photos important to you? I don’t have one, I’m just giving you something to think about. I mean, if all you need is an image, not every nook and cranny, then I’m certain the photos should be enough. But if you’re an expert photographer, perhaps consider a regular camera or maybe the s22 Ultra or iPhone 14 Pro Max (when it’s available to own).

Gotta say. Have the z flip 4 too. This things battery does not make sense. Its small and in 2 pieces, yet it's outlasting my s22 ultra. Love this thing. New processor really changes the android game. I hope they make a flip 5 ultra. That's a little wider, and has the ultra cameras. I'd never need another thing from this phone
yeah! the battery life on it is SUPER impressive for such a little thin phone
My flip batter is lasting longer than my s22 ultra as well. I also agree, I wish they'd make it just a tad wider and match the camera specs of the s22 ultra...but I'll have to say the flip photos without any zoom look really good
I upgraded from a s21 plus and my flip 4 battery is getting around an hour more than that phone
I'm extremely close to pulling the trigger considering its at $859 for a 256GB model through Samsung. 😁
There are soooo many different opinions about this phone,I love the Idea of it but worry about the long term durability and battery life,I'm very very tempted to get this phone,not too bothered about camera 🤔

I wanted nothing to do with this phone when it first launched. After viewing many videos on it, It's really starting to grow on me. The aesthetic alone is reason enough to buy it.
My thoughts exactly. I did bite the bullet bought mine last week and so far loving it. Specially splitting the screen and accessing everything through cover screen.
I have one, enjoying it so far.
My only gripe. The volume buttons, PUT THEM ON THE LEFT ! They're WAY up high on the right side, there's all that real estate on the left side of the phone with nothing on it, why? If they had put the volume buttons opposite the power button/FP reader it would be perfect design.
I pre-ordered the flip and used it for about a week. I really enjoyed it, but I felt like I didn't want to sacrifice the camera setup of my s22 ultra, so I returned the flip
After one day of reusing my s22 ultra, it just felt so damn big and uncomfortable to use. I ended up going back and getting another flip the next day

this happened to me too! haha. I literally just bought a new flip on Swappa for $638. I'd say that's a much better deal than from Samsung. cuz I'm still keeping the Ultra. 🤣

But I relate, I got wh1000xm5 headphones, then I got Apple AirPods Max thinking they had better noise cancelling… they did… but the audio was horrid compared to the wh1000xm5. I wouldn’t consider myself an audiophile by any means, but my gosh, I have NEVER heard anything sound so amazing! Songs I have heard hundreds of times had new life when I used the wh1000xm5s! No where near as good as the xm3s imo. Also, the AirPods Max didn’t switch audio from my phone, iMac, and iPad nearly as cleanly as my AirPods Pro. Idk why that is…
I ended up returning the AirPods Max. I was so ashamed that I sent my father to return it in exchange for doing some chores 😅

i agree with everything you said. I had a flip3 but i sort of hated it because of the battery, but then i got the flip4 and i love it. It's very good. I wish more people would give it a try.

this phone is so good to use, iv had Fold 2, Flip 3 and now Flip 4. Baterry difference is good news, pictures are better for shure. Just the last experience with the hinch mechanism shud be better, as in Flip 3 or Fold 2 and 3, i have same experience. It getting weaker, crees getting deeper and it loos the thoughnes. We will see here, with 4 generation after few months :-)
Love the Flip4. I actually got because of your review. It's actually my favorite phone since my first smartphone way back when. You are right it fits so snugly in your hand it feels almost impossible to drop it (and now I have jinxed myself).

For $1000 retail it should have the best cameras that Samsung has.I have been comparing pics from this and my Pixel 4a and I gotta say the Pixel 4a pics are better for a 3rd of the price right now. Battery has been descent for me, way better than the flip 3. If I did not get the $900 trade in for my flip 3 I would return it.
I am loving my Flip 4! Battery took a while to settle but now I am getting good enough times. 16-18 total hours / 6 hours screen on time.
Standby drain is excellent on this phone
I have a Flip 4 and this is my favorite phone since the s10. It just feels new different and fast. I'm getting around 5-8 hours of screen on time depending on what I'm doing and it's just so unique. Samsung did a good job with this phone. They gave us everything that we need in a phone and made it flippable.

Wow... you are a fanboy! I am also. I ordered the bespoke version and was so disappointed that it had a glossy finish. I am sending it back and getting the Blue. Really wanted a new Thom Browne version which was excluded this year. I had every flip so far. Switched from having every iPhone upto the 11. Never going back. Thanks for your enthusiasm.
After using flip phones in the past, I have no problem using two hands to open.

I got so used to having a bigger screen and the spen that I can't renounce that, even if the flip is a flippin good phone, pun intended :) Wainting for the s23 ultra(aka the new note) Hopefully they'll follow the rumours and release the SD version in all markets

It's a beautiful phone . I use it like an acton camera.
I took the plunge and have had mine a couple of weeks. You're spot on - its a fun, practical, robust phone. The folded size is great in your pocket too - doesnt hang out or get in the way

I went with a real carbon fiber case. Looks great!! Complaint...not with the phone. Bixby sucks!!! Latest update screwed everything up. Samsung says they are working on the issues. Otherwisw great phone.

bevor i took the flip4 i used a Samsung a22. The a22 has a 5000 Akku. It lasts much longer than the flip4. Still i prefer the flip 4 because of ceveral reasons. Most i like that i can put it in any pocket.
I was so close to getting this… I’m a lifelong iPhone user, I’m currently using the 2020 iPhone SE, and it’s battery health is at 80%. I want it, but my current phone is still good just needs a new battery soon, if I wasn’t getting a new car I would’ve got this lol, oh well I’ll get an even more refined version in a few years

Funny i've been feeling the same way with this phone in regards to durability.
I had a fold 2 for 2 years and i think my case caused all the scratches on the hinge than if i just didn't use a hinge protected case. (Spigen Slim Armor Pro)
Although i've noticed with the newer gen cases they use a protective foam now.
I ordered the Ghostek covert in clear and am looking forward to the VRS Terra Modern case. (In white to go with the blue aluminum)

I personally use the natural profile, not vivid because when I take photos, the vivid profile messes with how the photo looks like on the screen

Yeah wouldn't rub it with a shirt. Did that for a while on my Flip 3 and marks appeared. Use a microfibre cloth. Anyway love my Flip 4. The best phone

I have the Z Flip 4. Truly innovative. Left iPhone a few years ago after I came to the conclusion that they make the same phone year after year with minor upgrades.

I got mine in purple like a week ago and I love it so much. The size when folded, the cool features that take advantage of the screen.
Plus it's a real head turner of a phone. Every time I take it out in public, people will always ask me about it.
It took me about 12 hours to master quick opening it.
Wheee I live the flip 4 sells for around 3000 Ils which is like 900usd and it comes with a case and a pair of Galaxy buds live while the normal iPhone 14 no pro no plus sell for 4000ils which is 1300usd

I traded my S21+ for the z flip 4 and paid just about half of it's normal price. I also got a couple of freebies. I really like the phone so far, battery life is not bad at all and finally I have a phone that fits my small pockets.
I will buy the next Z flip model, my iPhone 13 pro still works fine but I’ll definitely switch to this folding phone sometime soon
Got the black Flip on release, issues on screen looked cracked. Returned and have the blue one incoming. Samsung customer service has been pretty great. Still deciding whether I'll return the Fold or not.

with this cover your phone becomes a sandwich. you lose all the beauty of the phone and the materials. what's the point of spending $1,000 on top-quality materials if you then have to handle inferior material in your hands? You just buy the cover at this point and save $1000

Got mine... Finally trust a folding phone to be my daily driver without babying it.
I returned one of these, nice hardware, plenty of software issues. Front screen randomly switching off, apps crashing, UA-cam being the worst and cameras failing to launch

my worst fear is the overheating while making minor editing to videos like cutting and attaching and repeating the process if there's some undesired finished product. will that be a problem??
my current phone "s9 plus, had it for 4 years now" goes on fire right in the middle of editing one video and have got to put it down because it lags and shuts down.
I dont think this phone will overheat with stuff like that. its a total monster :)

My Z-Flip screen peeled and failed after a year and I was babying that thing it was my backup phone. Hope they improved that, and the crease is still there. Enjoyed the cool factor though even a conversation starter when I was on Gen 1.
they said that the adhesive is much better than last time, so we will see! I hope it doesn't peel away :(

I got the S22 Ultra a couple of months ago so it's not an option for me right now. But I would definitely like to try one of the flip phones down the line. But I also like the Spen and have been using the Note line of phones since the Note 8.

Samsung flip 4 z 4 is set at 4 gigs for ram go in settings and change to 8. I got my camera to 3778 pixels by over 2800. Cameras are not about megapixels. Dual camera and chip has to do alot. The software people don't even realize what this phone can do. I use cover os and use any app on front screen. Watch youtibe with phone closed. I v
Cann do dual screen open and use 3rd screen closed. Samsung has def improved folding screen. I put a micro screen protector. I've had this two months. Check out the editing photo software. I can get standby for 26hrs and16 min. Cover screen Os. Apple has gone to shit. Apple phones are a paper weight. Once you use the advanced technology abd learn who to edit photos etc

Chip performance is 100% better. Battery life is about the same, sometimes better :)
The battery on my flip is much better than the battery life I was getting on my s22 ultra

I switched from apple and I’m so glad I did. I got the flip 4 and the galaxy 5 watch to replace my iPhone 12 Pro Max and series 3 I watch. Let’s just say I won’t be going back to apple anytime soon.

Hi people I have a question it's just on mine or it's on everyone's phone that the screen is not closing all the way ? And when I have the phone closed the screen is not magnetic? The screen when you catch form just one side doesn't stay closed it's opening a little 😅

I upgraded and traded my S21 ultra, the speakers on the phone sound great but i've noticed the battery isnt as good, i'll charge it and maybe and hour or so later im at 70%
What apps are you using on the phone?
I'm on 66% right now and I just did a 9-5 shift and it's now 8:30 at night? Z Flip4 battery is surprisingly good.

I think foldables are a really good idea and the tech is good but I just don't think there are a massive amount of day to day practical uses that justify getting one.
Nah you would be surprised, the Z Flip 4 works around you not the other way around. Sounds like nothing but it's liberating.
