All the armed officers do a wonderful job as guardians of these horses…I really love the kindness of this female officer…she steps in very early to diffuse situations and always has a polo mint for the horses…😊
Let’s hope it works. The first trespasser this morning shrugged it off. Had read it, didn’t feel constricted to pet the horse. Not even when spoken to by the officer.
It does all look so much better for all, chilled horses and guards. Such a great improvement. Even watching it online it looks good now rather than a scrum.
This has to be a lot less stress on the guards and the horses. I would get wound up watching them get not only surrounded by greedy and rude people but aggressive and abusive ones. At least no one can grab the reins. Please…keep the rules this way from now on!!
My blood pressure has gone “ normal “ now .. the doctor was concerned.. i didn’t tell him that i watch this mauling of the horses by thousands of idiotic, senseless people & i get ill with it.. 😢
Should never have been allowed to touch them in the first place. You wouldn’t go up to a police dog on duty and start petting it or grabbing it’s lead and collar.
I was told that it's because it's a Grade I listed building and knocking nails or screws in could damage the fabric of the 300+ year-old walls. The two existing signs would have needed permission from English Heritage. 😊
Not new. It is a normal sight at military installations, airports and train stations. At airports and train stations they are civilian police. Here and other military bases they are military police. Other than that, regular civilian police are armed with tasers and we have many routinely armed police driving around or positioned in their cars are key strategic points ( they don't patrol on foot).
oh and key infrastructure - i.e. nuclear power stations and the like have a special police force patrolling them 24/7 ... also armed like you see here.

Brilliant no touching the horses, it's long overdue. The horses and guards should be alot more relaxed. Let's hope it lasts.

Tourists, you have only yourselves to blame. We horse lovers are happy as hell for this change.
Yes!! And I love the cop who enforces the rules.
Yes!!! Now they are forced to take a dignified picture. The horror!!!!
Agree 100%
Yes in deed and it's funny how so many try to look like a model or something!😂 sorry models @@margaretarce31
This new rule has certainly sped up picture taking!! 🤗❤️😊
It’s about time isn’t it, the horses will benefit hugely
I bet the horses are celebrating. No more dirty hands jammed in their face
They seem relaxed.
What a good boy, it looked like some one told him to touch the horse he turned and pointed to the sign. Well done that lad.
I agree but,if the guards and police don't enforce it or say something it will continue
It can be enforced easily by putting up guard rails around the perimeters!

Me encanta esta mujer Policia, ya que hace lo posible, por mantener a la CHUSMA alejada de los caballos, la felicito.

Around 5:29/5:30 it looked like a girl in a black top asked if she could pat the horse & was told no. 👏👏
Same 😂
lol 🤣

I am glad that the soldiers are finally saying no touching
The lady in polka dot dress 12:44 was there earlier 1:22 and had been told not to touch the horse. She is trying their patience.
She was determined despite the new rule. She was not willing to accept "no."
Love the new sign. Posing is disrespectful.
the horses seem so much calmer
Watchers should read the sign aloud if seeing horse touchers!
yes,its probably way too 🔥
I wish they stop posing go to a posing booth instead
Perhaps the sign should be made bigger, even some of the horses have started pointing to the sign
why can't they put a sign on both sides

thank-you for your answer
Nas pilatras deveria colocar cerca elétrica. Problema resolvido.
Police personnel with machine gun in England in the day time isn't that a new practice?
They’re guarding a building of an important meaning..shoulders are there to be guarded too
