As I commented on another video, there was an Italian woman with three teens there yesterday, taking pictures. The woman read the sign to the kids out loud in English and then in Italian. They all perfectly understood that they weren't supposed to touch the horse. What happened next?? The woman then said to one of the girls "Touch him, Jade! Touch him! He (the Guard) won't do anything." This was absolute proof that some of them know EXACTLY what the sign says and they choose to ignore it because there are no consequences.
The guy with the green umbrella could have caused a big problem. Spooking the horse could have resulted in injury to a guard, horse and tourists. Good job guard, but this is one reason why you need to enforce the no touch rule so no tourists are near a spooked horse. SAFETY, SAFETY, SAFETY.
Why can't these idiots make room when they see a Kingsguard coming towards them? They stand there as if cranked and stare. It's simply incomprehensible that the soldiers are being hindered in the fulfillment of their duty in such a way
This idiot could have put his umbrella out of the horse's area, especially because it's not raining. The horse gets scared and the idiot goes on his merry way. A blatant case of disrespect and selfishness

The tour guides are worse than useless. Going so near the horse with umbrellas, flags or something else on a stick. They're not very good at keeping control of their groups either especially the young teenagers.

I understand that people do not like the way tourists behave but just think how boring it would be for the sentries and their very intelligent horses. Most people like the clowns in a circus, these soldiers enjoy the performance and it is free!
Just no. Horses are prey animals and very sensitive to perceived threats. They are trained for a long time to get them to tolerate standing still with so many triggers around. Tourons are enterrtaining for us but def not for the horses.
I don't think they enjoy the crowded chaos at all. Neither the horses nor the soldiers. We've seen times when a horse got spooked or stressed (consider the green umbrella moment in this video) and came out of the box into the crowd, and people were clueless and had to be shouted at to get out of the way. That puts pressure on the soldier to keep everyone safe, and yes, they do a great job at that. Yet, I'm sure they would take peace over chaos and not call it boring.
Everyone seem to be forgetting that the guards and horses are working. This us their job. Every country have percedures when it come to securty and it's different from other countries. You would never go to Russia, Cuba, Poland, Canada and act the the way these tourists act. They would be arrested. So show the same respect. This is not Disneyland or a petting zoo.
