And below there's a bit about this video, like and subscribe to follow our chicks journey week by week :)
Welcome back to Week 3 of our Chick Check-In! This week, our chicks are showing off their new feathers and engaging in some playful antics as they continue to grow. In this update, I’ll talk about the noticeable changes in their appearance, especially the development of wing feathers, which are leading to adorable mini ‘test flights’ around the brooder.
We’ll also dive into their behavior as these little ones become more active and begin to establish their social hierarchy through pecking order dynamics. Learn about the importance of this process and what behaviors to expect.
Plus, I'll cover the crucial care aspects during this stage, including adjustments in their diet to support their rapid growth, the importance of maintaining proper hydration, and how to correctly manage the heat in their environment to ensure they are comfortable as they feather out.
Whether you’re a chick parent yourself or just love following their growth, this video is packed with insights and cute moments that you won't want to miss. Hit like, subscribe, and ring the bell for more updates from our feathery friends' journey! 🌱🐥

Great example of how fast they grow. Your chicks are only a couple of weeks ahead of mine. I got 12 Buff Orpingtons and 3 Black Jersey Giants (got a bonus chick too) this week. I can see a difference already.

Thanks for the comment David! Filming their next week growth today and it truly is remarkable! I’m so glad we decided to do a weekly update, the time just flys! A 15 hen flock is going to be incredible! So happy for you! And what great breeds!
