Great video ! What product do you use to seal the surface after the acrylic patina ? Also, how long do you wait before you seal your pieces ? Thank you ! 🙂
That looks like a lot of fun. I've never tried it. I've watched Brittany's video and you both make me want to try some. I do water colors... So I'd have to buy some kind of product ...any suggestions? Thanks for sharing. Take care and God bless. Sue
I started with water colours too. I now do acrylic painting and will transition to oils. Most people use Vintag Patina paints. You can get it on Amazon and Kellie's Bead Boutique. She's a Canadian store so the prices are good if your American. Someone in Arizona told me that got their stuff in 5 days. She has a bunch of stuff on clearance and her regular stock is really good prices. Can you tell I love her store. So, back to your question. I used acrylic paint. Dollar store paint would actually work well because it's chalky. Then just seal it with spray varnish. Take care Sue. 💚
@@BabySquirrelBeading Thank you so much for the info. I really like Kellie's video. I'll have to check out her site. I'm in the little state of New Hampshire. These days I'm sure glad I'm not near the big cities. Stay safe and God bless you and your wife. Sue
We are in a small lobster fishing town accross the harbour from Halifax. Halifax is still pretty small. We are still isolating for the most part. Thank you for your kind thoughts. All the best. 💚
I think you should use some rub and buff or that type of product it just gets in the crevices.

Acrylic paint dries very fast. You can seal it after 10 minutes 🤓
Thank you ! What do you recommend to seal it with ?
