- The rant runs till 8:12. It's something that's bothered me that's been happening here in Portland. And it's mostly just within Portland. The surrounding metro towns are doing much better at keeping this rant issue at bay.
The Hunt at a 1909 park turns out pretty good.

What party has been in power in Portland for the last 50 years?
Oregon leans Democratic as a state, with both U.S. senators from the Democratic party, as well as four out of Oregon's six U.S. Representatives. The Democratic candidate for president has won in Oregon in every election since 1988.
I too am an Oregon native, to say “both parties” aren’t doing their job is a miscarriage, the last time this state was “Republican” was 7th grade in 1987, since then it’s been a LIBERAL ORGY!
PS All of Oregon was a wonderful place to live then!
No matter the party, they're both wrong. They're like over paid children unsupervised. This may not be the case at the state level, but regardless, all morons imo. Just give us Term Limits for all of DC and the country will be better off.

Btw any information on decision for manticore over Deus 2 (I’m assuming you pondered both as I’m doing as I’m coming off an Etrac as well?). Just curious if you considered it as well?

@@TrekTracks74 I did. I really close to getting the Deus 2 then Minelab unloaded a bunch of detectors and thought I'd wait and see comparisons. That's where I made my decision was those comparisons. But Minelab needs more updates , imo.

but I really want the Manticore….oh decisions!

Have you ever detected in the Beaverton/tigard area? There are a TON of parks over here (fanno creek trail alone is a large point of interest) but just not sure how old they are. I enjoy your vids either way! 👍🏻
I have and do. But I haven't benn over too much this last year. I've been thinking about heading to the "west" side soon.
Do you think the manticore is worth the extra money over the nox 900?
I honestly can't say as I've not used the 900. But my friend likes his 800 over the Manticore. Says it's more stable. Sorry. I wish I could help.

Dont worry man, you're not the only one who hates portland. People in washington hate portland too
It's not hate, and I know this problem is everywhere. I'm mad that our system of laws aren't stronger, that parents don't raise their kids to know right from wrong and our whole system doesn't work for the people who are struggling. Portland is/was in top 10 most expensive cities to live in. It's just got out-of-hand.
@@metaldetectingoregon It's the same in SF tbh. Poor leadership is a understatement when it comes to certain cities. It's like they're doing it on purpose, because clearly they have the ability to clean up for chinese leaders, but they won't do a thing for the people that live there.
