"Said he had your okay."
Cragen chose violence that day.
If it wasn't Stabler that had his moment plenty of times, it would be Cragen that would do it.
Cragen has a history of dealing with questionable law enforcement.
I like that Elliot's definition of vulnerable is wearing glasses. It's such a dad-like move. xDDD
he also dropped his change XD
@@mychatpalace Ah yes "change"
It always makes me sad when something happens to a baby
agreed.
Yeah especially when they put baby in the corner
@@malefeminist4173nobody puts baby in a corner..

IAB stayed messing up cases for them smh 😡😡
Mad Donald Cragen is always peak. Man always has a cool head but the second you screw with the team he gets pisseddd.
I love it when Elliot and Liv do undercover work. It’s always believable and they just always make a great team
That mother at the beginning, breaks my heart, her poor baby, 😢 and the detectives first thought is she's a druggie herself!
In my area there was a baby who died because the parent (I honestly forgot if it was the mother or father) was a recovering addict and the kiddo got into their methadone 😒😒😒
@@LadyLeomon 😢
Well as awful as it sounds , parents are always the first person they suspect in a case involving babies. Especially something like overdose and it is because they have the most access to the baby and time to do something . Just like how significant others are the first suspect in a murder case .
So it's not really that out of mind fir them ti think she's a druggie and mixed up her drug and baby formula .
She looks like one
@@seanhagelbarger6801how
You know Cragen was pissed when even Elliot held him back and told him to chill
"You need anger management" a lot of people told stabler the same thing but Stabler's anger decided to take the day off in most of this episode Cragen's anger decided to make a guest appearance for the first time in a long time.
You have to feel sad from the mom, She had no idea that she was feeding her baby Liquid cocaine, Hidden inside baby formula, And later when the story starts to develop , you find out what happens to the other moms.
I felt bad for that precious baby. Live your life beautifully.
It’s funny seeing this and knowing Tucker and Liv got together down the road and they were so good together.
Yeah. They were good until they weren’t.
Didn't he get terminally ill & left her or something like that?

Inside baby formula....my god
It shows how desperate they are to smuggle their product.
It's actually a fairly common way to smuggle unfortunately. They usually just don't lose their stash
Pls don’t take God’s name in vain
@@stitchchewingbubblegum9737 Kind of a weird place to be judgmental, while watching a fairly violent crime show.
@@scottw6704they’re either a pearl-clutcher or a troll, not worth it either way
The episodes involving babies always make me so sad. They’re just sweet little things that are helpless and at the mercy of whoever they’re in the care of. Just look at how cute that mother’s baby boy was! He was just an cute, innocent little thing and he was the victim of a horrible crime.
Ikr? What possible reason would anyone have to harm a baby?
If Elliot wasn’t an SVU detective, he would make a pretty believable Wall Street guy
Elliot restraining another cop (the Captain no less)😂😂😂. Virtually, every other episode some other cop has to be on hand to restrain Elliot.
One of this firsts "Pull and Push" between SUV and IAB
There shouldn't be much movement there, as long as SUV is on parking brake
@@wessltov And/or the IAB dosen't interfere or act earlier before the evidence has results (And even do wrong arrests)
I love Munch and Tutuola as a team, they're partners that are unlikely pair but work well off each other
R.I.P. Munch
I think that the different law enforcement agencies should work with each other instead of against.
Ego, ego, ego. That's everyone in law enforcement.
Internal affairs can't really do that. Their job is going after cops.
no, their job is protecting the department. @@steveomac385
@@steveomac385 I think they can, up to a point. But I get your point. I first learned about Internal Affairs in an episode of Cagney and Lacy. That show is completely forgotten about today, but it’s as good as L&O. So is LA Law.
The American agencies are always deliberately getting in each others way out of ego instead of what is best for the case. Hell just look at the ongoing internal war between the FBI and the CIA and how many times they've fucked everything up just to spite the other party
When I first saw that scene of a crying mother running and screaming for help. That hurt my heart to see that scene where the baby is not breathing.
I was wondering if the father or the mother in the beginning was a suspect. Mom unaware that dad is a drug smuggler, or mom is an addict and forgot to give the right food to the baby.
honestly i think it's nice they didn't, it subverts the usual plot beats.
"Let's take a ride"
OH HE MAD
Dad's mad!
This was an awesome episode. Mainly because Cragen got physical with Tucker 🤣
IKR one. One of the few times you see Cragen lose his temper and lay a hand on someone. So deserved but and I thought it unexpected
This and CSI Miami have me absolutely convinced that IAB are staffed entirely by the most corrupt and incompetent people they can find
That's intentional. These shows are, at least in part, meant as propaganda to get you to trust the cops implicitly (part of the deal they make with law enforcement to get details of the process). That's why IA, defense attorneys, and anyone who is seen as "standing in the way" (re: respecting human rights) is painted as a villain.
@@t-spiders1035 The term is copaganda. L&O wasn't actually that bad originally. Like, first decade and a half it didn't exaggerate things, didn't have the officers crossing the line, etc. It attempted to be as faithful to showing the whole legal process, from crime to conviction, as honestly as possible... then the studio gets involved wanting to boost ratings so they overdramatize and thus you get episodes like where 2 teenage white girls make their brothers falsely accuse a gay black man of being a pedophile, ruining his life because the squad didn't ask enough questions... and the girls get 1 year probation because 'they won't testify against each other' and 'no putting the boys on the stand because they are traumatized enough already'.
Funny,,,,,,,but true😅
Daddy El in glasses 🤓 is ❤️🔥 love Elliot and Livs chemistry undercover
That poor baby and his mama. 💔
This was a devastating episode. So many deaths and the perp was disturbingly unremorseful
Cap pulled up on BUSINESS ‼️‼️‼️
Good episode, just shows how stupid and stressful it can be when two law enforcement agencies start getting into each others cases. Very complicated but in the end SVU & IAB decided to work together on that one. Also I love it when Elliot & Liv go undercover, they have such great chemistry together. 😍💕
When Elliot is telling Cragen to stand down you know it's BAD bad
I never understood why internal affairs are always made to look like the bad guys. Is it not there jobs to find the actual bad guys in the police force?
Not always craigen worked in internally affairs / also one of law and order detective from internal affairs had long run on that show / also in blue bloods often internal affairs are good at their job /
I will never understand why Olivia dated Tucker.
Cause she was desperate 😅😅
She dates any man
But the one she really wants
That's a good look for Olivia.
Detective Benson was so young back then.
Look at Olivia standing there acting like she doesn’t love Tucker
Portrayal of internal affairs as the bad guys... lol.
Feds vs SVU
So you jumped from a death of a child to questioning drug people
Feds? IAB is local police internal affairs? No feds in this clip.
Poor infant. What's worse is it could've been the other infant in the video who was unfortunate enough to ingest that formula.
No it couldn't have. The other infant was a borrowed baby and that white couple were actually the damned smugglers!
How is that worse?
@@babybluehashyo ig worse for the mother of that other baby, but it's a VERY weird wording
Oh, he was intentional with his wording and meant it as such. It's bad that it was the first baby we saw, it would be worse if it were the 2nd baby. He typed what he meant
@@D415h4n34 what I "meant, wise guy is that formula was originally bought to be fed to the 2nd baby. The mother of the baby who perished took that formula without permission. She knew what she was doing was wrong, and now her baby's gone because of it.
That poor scared mother and that poor baby boy 💔
Would love to see the full episode on this case
This is very sad right now
Great episode
Wow this was SVU back in the day.
I've never seen Olivia in eveningwear, she looks so pretty!

This was a good Law and Order: SVU. IAB Tucker was so wrong for saying Capt. Cragen signed off on taking a murder suspect.

Accidently started this video in 2x speed... I thought she was running too fast
I remember this episode. I wish I had it on the freaking stream channels. I can't find it half the time.
Glasses-Stabler reminds me of Chandler from Friends
Then Liv would me Monica.
why would you try and pick him up there, let him get away from the your undercover and box him in or do what undercovers are supposed to do and go long term building profiles on the network
I'll always find it weird that law & order always frames Internal Affairs as the bad guys, they're the ones who are assigned to keep police accountable
Which episode is this? I can't believe I haven't seen it.
Season 4 Episode 12 “Risk” dude
I was curling my toes with those two
This show, during the first four or five seasons, was one of the most realistic cop shows. I’m not talking about how true it is to police procedure, just the feel of it from a viewers perspective. I stopped watching after the plots started taking more outlandish turns.
Just went to story was getting good. It cuts out.
What season and episode?❣️
BART BASS!!!
I KNEW HE LOOKED FAMILIAR 😂😂😂😂
If this was real life they'd be locked up in worse
oh no! not cocaine!
This doesn’t seem realistic near the end, Stablers backup would have been around the corner by the time he raised his gun, there was such a delay…

Makes me sad when people stop watch someone else’s life unfold :((
I'm glad they didn't automatically assume the Black mother put the cocaine in the formula on purpose. In real life, the police probably would have.
What season is this from
Season 4
Looks like baby Jayden Smith
gosh*
I always forgot that Tucker had been around for the past 20 something seasons. My question is why did he fall in love with Olivia? Don’t they have an age gap???
Not very good seeing how the border patrol security/ sniffer dogs would have probably done the regular checks to find the drugs
They pay off the Boarder Patrol 💰 The officers know ahead of time which truck is loaded with coke, and all they have to do is smile and wave them right on through to the good ol’USA.
Was the baby okay??
He died
Forgot how hot stabler was back in the day
I hope they didn't use a real baby at the beginning scene.
Tucker 😅😊one of liz best bf miss him in the show its not the same

Liquid cocaine, aka Mountain Dew.
Aka Red Bull
Equally horrible for a baby!
I hate how they always make Internal Affairs the bad guys. Copaganda at its finest
