At 15:36 the opponent plays a Shattershambler, the only deathrattle in the deck was Ozumat.
15:36 The Rogue played the new card 'Shattershambler' which reduces the cost of their next deathrattle minion by (1) but insta-kills it on play.

it seems unusual that taking the opponents 3-2 high attack minion is the powerplay
You can try "Seaforium Bomber" in this deck, a fun card that you played in the past. Seaforium Bomber + Shadowcaster + Brann

So the one thing that I cannot figure out is around 22:00 the opponent plays the Ozumat colossal card and yet it instantly dies, triggering its deathrattle. Did I miss something that would entail this?

mech mage is cheap, pirate rogue is cheap too if you take in consideration that the legendaries are a good investment, inner fire priest is cheap too.
