    I've always imagined the (Mexican) Spanish translation temeraire being "tamarindo." Anyway, great books. I'm in the middle of League of Dragons. Great read!

    Ships are always refered to as woman. Why not dragons?

      I guess they have genders just like any other animals. Male and female. 🤷

      Like orsik said, in the series dragons have genders, unlike ships, wich just have a feminine pronoun.
