- "It's a beautiful day outside. birds are singing, flowers are blooming...
On days like these, kids like you...
...should be burning in hell."
Toby Fox's signature song now covered to 8-bit. Made in 0CC-FamiTracker 0.3.12 . Enjoy!
Hi guys. A lot of you were asking me for a download link or FTM file. Well, here it is: chipjockey.bandcamp.com/album/arrangement-extravaganza-vol-1
This song is available to download on my new album "Arrangement Extravaganza! vol.1". It's available for free, but any donation will be really appreaciated. All €5+ supporters will get FTM files for every song in album (including this one)! (extra FTMs available for €?+ supporters)
Not bad dude!
i really want your FTMs but i'm broke af D:
Milos and Chip Jockey do u take USD?
+Nova With PayPal - we take everything.
+Kryss Music
Maybe a late answer(?), but the program is 0CC-FamiTracker, and it allows you to add as many expansion audio chips as you want to your music module.
I've heard a few chiptune covers of Megalovania at this point.
This one flattens them all and bombards them with bones
+Leo Moriko you could even say they were boned...
+Leo Moriko You couldn't make a pun with blue or bones...
The others 'Got dunked on'
MegaCHUBBER
THANK YOU.
*It's a beautiful display inside.*
*Cards are reading, power is booting...*
*On days like these, kids like you...*
*SHOULD BE BURNING UNDERTALE*
*..onto portable media, so you can play it on the go.*
+James Bot *On days like these, kids like you...*
*SHOULD BE PLAYING NINTENDO GAMES.*
+James Bot
Thank you for making my day.
lol
SWIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIITCH??!?!?!?!?
Confirmed :)
our reports showed a massive anomaly in famitracker composers. Sound channels forming and dissapearing, effects being triggered everywhere... heh, heh, heh... that's your fault, isn't it?
Wha?
+DispairAndHappiness You Faker. That blue hedgehog here of all places..
Cos' even if I do someone will do a better remix of it right?
mechashadow Funny, that's exactly how I felt when I started mapping the song only to find about 50 different covers of it.
Knowing that one day, another cover will be tracked, and uploaded, over, and over again.
I didn't even know it was possible to have this many sound channels in famitracker.
+Dumi the Sandwich Nope.
I think it's 0CC-FamiTracker, by HertzDevil.
+3pac shakir Oh? I thought the reason he was able to do this was sacrificing SFX channels, which you shouldn't do in a real game.
+Quick Man
Well...
THE MORE YOU KNOOOOOOW
Good job Quick Man. you analyzed and seem to be acquainted with the 8-bit sound chips of the NES , seeing as how it was the grounds you were brought into existence on. I bet Wily drew some inspiration from sans and basically made a sans themed robot master. Then that old timer might actually have Mega Man stumped!
This boys and girls require actual skills, Ones I will never have but want. *Seriously great job on this.*
This song would cause a NES sound processor to burst into flames before you could say _"Get Dunked On"_
An NES would probably have a bad time trying to process this song.
You feel like you're gonna have a bit time
+Steve Eppinger This joke was very good.
+Steve Eppinger You forgot the 8
your feel the bits crawling in your back
+Steve Eppinger Oh my God. That pun was really punny.
***** no
our reports showed a massive anomaly in the famitracker composer. Sound channels jumping left and right, chiptunes stopping and starting... Heh, heh, heh. That's your fault, isn't it?
When your comment gets stolen but gets 10 times the likes
You can't understand what this feels.
Knowing that no matter what you do, it's all going to be reset.
*sorry kid, my mixtape broke. *we'll have to make do with my computer.
I love this rendition, perfectly captures the intensity of the battle. although some notes are a little off, the cover is great, and I love that you actually added the high notes during the calmer part of the song. amazing work!
I think the offset notes add to the feeling.
That would be perfect on a bootleg NES Undertale
+Kaiden Mikami I don't think it could run on a real NES. It uses multiple expansion chips, whereas I think all actual NES games only used one at most.
+Larry Psuedonym I beg your pardon. Nothing is impossible and here;s a proof: i.imgur.com/qzJ0jU5.jpg . I know it's Famicom, but it can also run on NES with just a little modifications.
Ok, now comes the bootleg and joel livestream
+Milos and Chip Jockey (Milos) I stand corrected.
+Kaiden Mikami I would be happy even if it was just a simple NES game with Ricoh 2A03 sound chip and nothing more.
Thinking about it, the game should have been simplified a lot to be able to make it run on NES, but still I think it could be decent if it's well done.
I like how people are trying to think of how this would work on a NES cartridge. But nobody here is thinking of the SEGA systems.
I think that's because this was created using a program that simulates specifically the NES sounds, and with major adjustment to both the sound file itself and a NEW or Famicom, there is the possibility of this running on real hardware. It probably would be possible on a Sega Master System with major adjustments and the FM sound expansion, but it would require a completely different sound format and might be just as hard to do on a Famicom or NES, if not harder, but it's most likely possible in some form or another.
+Meeptroid Zero ooh. i didn't know that. welp now i know why it's called famitracker
Yeah, there was a reason, but, major adjustments on Famicoms have proven that something like this is possible, and, the fact still remains, that, there is a very likely chance that if this is possible on a Famicom, then, with possible adjustments, there is the chance of it working on a Sega Master System, but yeah, there is a reason it's called Famitracker, and that's why you have so many people talking about Nintendo consoles here. Although, the idea of some kind of Undertale NES bootleg that people were talking about in a seperate discussion on this video sounds interesting, and if something like that actually happened, I would get ahold of a rom as soon as possible.
+Meeptroid Zero If there became a NES bootleg, the Super NES would probably be the best contender. Given the capabilities of the superFX chip.
+Sir Oblivious I've heard Gangdam Style replicated with lyrics and everything on an actual famicon...
This wouldn't suprise me.
(0:00) This isn't too bad. I'm gonna enjoy this quite a bit... (0:15) ALRIGHT, ALRIGHT, I'M HAVING A BAD TIME! A VERY BAD TIME!
I nearly spit my drink out when I saw all the channels pop up.
This needs to be more popular than it is.
Yeah, I see it has 50,000 views. It still needs to be more popular.
Famitracker channels intensify
Edit: this video needs way more attention than its getting I love it so much
+Gamecube Geek I agree too... This is absolutely astounding!
Jeez you used every expansion except the vrc chips and and mmc5.
Come on man go all the way! Lets hear something generated when you've got -all- the channel.
Have you heard my ASGORE arrangement yet?
SOUNDS SO AWESOME
With all of these expansion chips plugged in, the NES is almost as powerful as sans... almost.
my that's a lot of channels, good job on managing them all :) needless to say, this cover is awesome
Now THAT'S a really expensive cartridge.
Now imagine Deltarune with all 7 chapters, and all of these expansion chips.
Finally, a worthy cover of this -gem- REALLY GOOD SONG
Awesome track and amazingly done. Also the comments section is amazing compared to UA-cam standards. Low level programmers / chipset designers community have awesome people in it!
What version of Famitracker you use? Standart 0.4.6 had error on opening,m ang beta5 jut stops after first line.
Newest version of 0CC-FamiTracker is required to properly play this FTM file.
Man that NES has some blast processing right there
At parts it does sound like the original song. Its quite a nice composition. Well done.
Recreating the same feeling of rockin'ness that I had when I first listened to Megalovania. Nicely done.
>Made a Game Boy version >Listens to this WELP THIS IS ALREADY GR8 M8. but seriously, great job. :D
Holy crap, I don't think I've ever seen something done with multiple expansion chips! How... how did you even get Famitracker to do that?
+ShrubRustle It's a fork of Famitracker called 0CC - Famitracker. It allows for all expasions to be enabled at once if needed, which can make stuff like that. *points at this video*
It's a beautiful game outside,
Pixels are loading,
NPC's are chatting,
On day-cycles like these,
Players like you....
SHOULD BE CORRUPTING IN HELL!
Our reports showed a massive anomaly in Sprite over-loading, malfunctions jumping left and right, Games rebooting and ending... Heh, That's your fault, isn't it?
The melody turned out amazingly.
AMAZING! I love the people whole feel of this song especially the plucky synth at the start
what is that music sequencer? (sorry for my bad english. I'm russian мишка водка балалайка борщ достоевский)
famitracker
@@TurtleYTPMV thanks💖
Undertale should be on the NES with a cheesy 1980s commercial ;p
dinkleberg YES!!!
probably would be better on an snes
Is there an emulator that can play this? I've tried it on a few but it always appears to "crash" (it'll reach a different part of the song on different emulators and then hang at that part)
+ScottTheGameDev 0CC-FamiTracker is required to play this FTM file.
That's a REALLY nice soundchip
this is 101% fantabulous! here, have all of my fave raves!
What the fuck are you
THIS IS INSANE.
ABSOLUTELY.
FUCKING.
INSANE.
And I LOVE IT
MAN, you put a lot of work into this.
amazing, megalovania is my second most favorite song, right next to the ROTMG theme.
Do you have this in MP3 or NSF form? I have never, EVER heard an arrangement quite like this, it's awesome.
Is there even a named number for how many expansion your using?
Me who found this in my recommendations and di dnt know this chanell:we will watch your career with great interest.
This is really well done!!
THIS IS MY NEW RINGTONE.
+Rewind The Wolf I'm holding off on putting good music as a ringtone, because I'll start hating it after a few calls :P
@@Stabington You have a point.
5 years later and still the best megalovania remix I’ve ever heard
Man. I was trying to do this track in 8-bit while learning famitracker. This here is some impressive stuff.
0:31 this has to be the most accurate part to real megalovnaia
Cool. You are the 160th channel i have subbed to.
if you used 0cc-FT, my only comment would be that you should try using the compressed view... that's why he added that, for huge modules like this
other than that miniscule nitpick over the video editing, great cover! you earn a sub~
+littlelamp100 I already used compressed view in one of my videos~ But thanks a lot!
*It's A beautiful day in the arcade world. Mario And Luigis are jumping...
*Pac-mans are eating....
*On days like these players like you....
* ....... *SHOULD BE GAMING RIGHT NOW!*
hello!, you give me permission to use your cover for a game I'm making this inspired Undertale?
(mi inglés es super malo)
Some of the sounds are the same as the original!
OOOOHHH MYYY GOOODDD!!!
This is amazing Edit: good job btw
That's a LOT of sound channels right there.
NES references fill you with DETERMINATION.
You feel like playing retro video games with Sans, wasn't the best idea, you are going to have a Pixel time.
Now, let's make Undertale on a Super NES !
I love this so much..
what is this??? i know this is megalovania but what is it program or what???
My ears are burning in hell right now.
Awesome job with the cover!
Will you make a download link to an mp3 file for this?
Why are there stock market prices in the background?
holy... my mouth opened wide in the middle of watching this
how long did this take?
+LogicalCookie 7-8 hours.
@@ChiyokoFamicoMusic No it fucking did not
Are you god
perfect loading screen music ( I cant stand the wait)
Is there any place where i can download the .ftm ??
It kinda reminds me of Commodore 64, Genesis, and NES all rolled into one...
I LOVE IT!!!!!!!
Doodle Dangernoodle And let's not forget those lovely MSX games from Konami with the SCC-1 chip (similar to the N168).
Nice version of this classic track.
I can't imagine how expensive a game with all these chips in it would be.
+Renato Lopes Oh I meant back when the NES was out. It's a bit different, but when Super Metroid came out for the Super NES, it was about $70 due to graphical enhancement chips.
There is no way something this good can be on an actual NES.
This sounds way more like a Commodore/ZX Spectrum/Amiga-era remix. STill cool.
*You felt your bytes are crawling on your tape*
This sounds like it's in a GBC with a really skilled composer.
= Alberto Jose Gonzalez
Basically but exponentially more channels. The Game Boy only 4 channels: 2 square, one PSG, one noise. This has 7 different chips each with 5 or more channels alone.
How long did it take to do this?
You feel the bits crawling on your back...
You feel your synths crawling on your back.
mechashadow You feel the code, Neo--- I mean Frisk.
Damn this is like a freaking Golden Sun Battle!
Best megalovania remix! :O
All these years...
I've been calling it "FaRmitracker"
Then I noticed it's "FAMitracker"
My life is a lie.
It's ok fam
*sWeEt hOmE, aLaBaMa!¡!¡*
its bc its called the famicon
while playing super mario sunshine and mario 64 DS at the same time while listening to 8-bit renditions of undertale Music I just came up with a perfect Undertale AU.. a Mario themed one but the story will be deep and feel damn amazing just like Undertale
You mean Undertoad?
"It's a beautiful day outside. birds are singing, flowers are blooming...
On days like these, kids like you... Ok, ok shut up and play this music XD
Plumbers like you are the.. "Determined" type, right? they are willing to put with anything when there's nothing left to.. gain.
So just give and hit that power button.
got to say.. this is even better than the original
Undertale, best game ever!
* You feel your beeps booping down your back.
Good Job!
there's little details that make each rendition a remix rather than a cover
the inaccuracies
which the program name?
***** thx"
Absolute overkill =/= good music
masterpiece
BEST MEGALOVANIA REMIX EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
WHAT??? People are still making mods? Awww, this is some good shit.
I know that this is impossible to do on real hardware... but I don't care! This sounds way too awesome to not be impressed by it!
Not on a Famicom.
Can i use this music for my AU Glitched Sans or Core! Pls
Those sound chips are more powerful than the NES itself
*You feel your chips crawling on your back
This sounds like it came straight out of Duck Game holy shit
+Saxtoni
Wrong Duck Game.
This version has a nice ring to it.
how do you know how many tracks to make
