Guys you just gave me the visual of the South Pacific, in HD, that Delos could not so many years ago. My eyes were popping from my head, mouth open, and I was giggling like a child. The endless variations of blue water, the clarity of the water, the sea critters great and small. The footage you captured going down the break in the Atoll was breathtaking and matched everything my mind has dreamt up for the last 12 years. Thank you both for sharing and just so you know, even though you might think the footage may be boring, or you have seen it for a few months now, it whisks us all away if only for ~20min a week. Cheers and more snorkeling footage please...it's snowing in Chicago already
Haha AWESOME, great comment!! It’s ones like this that we cherish, and they truly help keep us motivated when we lack it, so thank YOU!! We really appreciate you taking the time to watch and comment!!
The rock formations and tidal pools were undoubtedly one of the most amazing scenes I've ever seen on any channel anywhere! Thanks so much for sharing it with us! Wow!!!
fantastic & beautiful video guys, love how only people with boats can seek out these amazing planet earth Gems..30 million years to create this gorgeous spot..

I stop in the first 1:30 min of this video to say that we like you, both of you, as friends you are good people and are doing something great. Please keep filming to keep us at your sides. I know its one sided, this friend ship but thats ok please keep us in the loop. thanks Rich
Yes I did, one is a GoPro and the other is a DJI Osmo. Tried to get them color graded to match but both have two very different qualities. Still trying to decide what brand we like best!
oh my gosh absolutely breathtaking Video. Congratulations! On your new Sail-its freaking AWESOME! Wow! And congratulations on arriving safely into Tahiti. PeaceAndLove Lori
Really great video guys, absolutely loved your mix of drone footage, go pro and half underwater shots. Keep it up and you will hit the 100K mark in no time!
Hi guys! Have just stumbled across your channel and I have liked, subscribed and rung the bell! I have one question so far. @1:30; you are picked up a very, VERY large snap-shackle, one of which I have not seen the kind of ever before. Could you please chat more about this shackle and post a link in the description in a future episode (If you haven’t already done so in a previous episode. If you have, could you please post a link to this episode?) Many thanks and fair winds and following seas for all your future episodes. Kindest regards, Mr Michel Dawes
Ahh yes, it’s our anchoring shackle, it’s made by Mantus (like the anchor company that’s so well known) and it’s for catching mooring buoy lines, I modified it a little so it hooks on our chain… anyways, glad you found us, and thanks very much for taking the time to watch and comment!! CHEERS
i was on the same spot, 50 years ago, and there where so much of all kind of fishes , that you hardly could walk .... and now I couldn't see one .... what a nightmare ....
Your new sail looks like an asym but I see that you have it rigged with just one sheet. When you need to gybe it do you douse it and then re-deploy it on the other side of the forestay?
The only reason to "leave Atoll" is to find one, two, three or...an unlimited number of previously unknown ones. How about the world`s finest atoll that hardly anyone knows ? *Alacranes Atoll* in the Gulf of Mexico. This place is awesomely splendid as well as splendidly awesome !
Ya you never know Chad, we do love having like minded people aboard! We will be in French Polynesia for about a year and then moving on to New Zealand about this time next year so maybe we could use crew for that passage…
In a wide-open place like that, why would someone anchor within a hundred meters of you when they could be far, far away and respect your privacy? To me, that's one of the joys of cruising - getting away from neighbors right up next to you. An area of several square kilometers has two boats in it and they're within hailing distance. Boo.
Under a blanket of snow. Miss your sunshine..looked all morning for your video Wednesday Nov16
thats the most impressive raising of any anchor ive seen in a long time...what a way to start any adventure..now thats living...

Oolite? The foundation of South Florida / Everglades. Want to go for an after noon stroll?

Do you think having a Cat vs. Monohull is a big advantage there because of the shallower draft? Would you still go there if you had a Monohull?
Have you been in other french Polynesian islands like tahiti, moorea ect…

Whatever they are, they’re delicious
I'd love to come sail with you guys for a month, or even just a week.. Is there any way that it's possible if I'd pay my way?
Ya you never know Chad, we do love having like minded people aboard! We will be in French Polynesia for about a year and then moving on to New Zealand about this time next year so maybe we could use crew for that passage…
