I ADORE them! Out of my 40 or so collection I've owned at least 9 godin's wish I could get a custom made one for me 🤔 & would actually play them exclusively if sponsored by them on my new album! That's how much I believe in this awesome our own CANADIAN company!

    What a beautiful guitar.
I own the 5th Avenue Kingpin 2 and absolutely love it.
To me, it’s probably the best guitar that I’ve ever owned.
Now I want this beauty. I was looking at some of the Gretsch models and think that I’d need to spend a lot more $$$ to get near the Godin quality. Plus being made right here in Canada does make it even more appealing.
Cheers for the great post Sir.

I would love to hear the clean tone....
I hate it when it’s always rock blues etc...

Such an under appreciated guitar! Blows Gretsch or anything else with Filtertrons away. The design is well thought through and intensional. And Corey’s demo is well played. Go out and play one. You won’t be disappointed.

Not a fan of the Bigsby style trem, but the rest of this guitar looks and sounds great. Be nice if Godin offered a non-trem version with either a trapeze or a stop tailpiece. Also a demo with clean tones included is important to many.

The fact that in this entire demo he never touched the Biggby once, tells me everything I need to know about that guitar. LOL
I'll stick to my Duesenberg. It actually stays in tune when I use the Bigsby.
I'm so sick and tired of all these other companies putting bigsby's on their guitars, but they don't stay in tune. What is the point!?!?!?!?!?????🤷🏾‍♂️

Rigs staying in tune has literally been one of Mr. Godin’s earliest obsessions sine he adopted the seagull headstock and other innovations. The man used to make steel strings so I think he knows something about keeping a guitar in tune.
