You might want to check out the "Coupled Hands" method of playing the harp; usually for wire lap harps; but great for any tiny harp; where your hands share the melody and chords and it makes it possible to play almost anything on even something tiny like this. It's a brilliant way to play. The book is by Ann Heyman and is the newer version; so make sure you get the one that was first published maybe 10 years ago; not the one from 30 or 40 years ago. I don't know where you are with playing now; as this vid is from a year ago; but if you haven't found this method yet you are going to love it. You might need to retune it in C major with no sharps or flats; I don't remember if that's necessary; but that's how I tune mine; as I started with a harp with no levers and have never had levers or tuned in anything but C major. Anyway; I hope you are having fun with it and if you gave up on this one as too small to play anything on, try the coupled hands method. Cynthia Cathcart teaches it, as well. In fact, the book is "Coupled Hands for Harpers" and may be by Cynthia Cathcart; though Ann Heyman originated the method. Be sure to check the spelling of their names as my memory is terrible for stuff like this. You can see my own harp playing on a video under "the Gothic Bohemian Salon."

Daddy Long Les thank you kindly for your reply! Your description of your harp in your video gave me enough clues to find it online!

How do you tune the 12 string harp? Can you add a video?

Sorry Joanne I don't have it anymore. I'm pretty sure I talk about the tuning in one of my 12 string harp videos. In any case it's a diatonic tuning - only notes from the major scale.
