I used to live in Bowling Green and am 81 years old. My only concern for your fabulous rescue center is this: How do you know that when someone adopts one or more black cats- or any cat- that they are not doing it for nefarious reasons like what happens at Halloween with some animals? How do you know that some of the homes aren’t filthy or occupied by borderline hoarders? Do you visit the homes? You all have taken such great care of the animals, that I worry about them being cast into an horrible environment! While most people are good, there are those who only pretend to be so. From what I have seen and understood from UA-cam and the facebook site, Megan undertakes very comprehensive home checks which include speaking to the potential adoptee's veterinarian. Many people do not make the cut for adopting from FFRC. I hope that allays your fears.

Some people need to understand that shelters everywhere are maxed out and cannot keep taking in new cats or kittens.
