Also I'm getting ready to move back to Indiana and I've had my Frankie Joe for eight years here in Florida where I adopted her any suggestions to make her feel comfortable on the ride back to Indiana and adjusting to her new home please all suggestions appreciated
Make sure she is chipped, cats bolt out of the vehicle plan accordingly ❤Harness n leash secured in your backseat w her litter box (clip her leash w a caliper to your heavy luggage handle, so she doesn't get under your brake or gas peddle) According to ❤Vca hospitals: Plan to leave your cat in her carrier for the full drive, or make sure to have a harness on her and attach a leash if you must get her out of the carrier during your trip. For a 2-day drive, confirm that your cat is welcome at the accommodations you have chosen for the night. It is not worth sneaking her in!
Don't let her eat too much before the trip. They get anxious with the packing and eat too much, and then they can get sick in the car. Also, make sure she can't watch out the window. Cats have been known to get away and return to their old home. I would also suggest putting something in her crate that she is familiar with and really likes.
Put 2 large carriers front to front. Litter box in one and bed with some water food in the other side. Ask your vet for some medicine to help with the travel anxiety.

It MUST be hard to see cats you love to go to their new home. Bittersweet. Really stupid ad leading to the video this time - they should have to pay double! 😑 In the middle of FFCS video, 1st ad was 3+ minutes, and immediately after that ad, the second was 44+ minutes! Sigh. I put my phone in my pocket and did evening chores... fed cats, swept driveway, took recycle out, and got the mail... still 27 minutes left. Pulled out a book... reading Dana Stabenow mysteries that I bought from an online thrift sight. 😊
I hope adopters realize Cats are social aninals and need to be with each others own species. Please educate them on this really vital information. Despite their independent natures, cats are social creatures that need companionship to thrive. Left alone, a cat can develop behavioral problems, and in some cases, even show signs of depression. Adopting two cats that are bonded, on the other hand, are more likely to be better adjusted.
Some Linda person said Gretchen is adopted..I don't see that in the adoption page..I don't remember her getting adopted ..yet..she slept with faith n other cats like Preston...those juicy storms can stay north too.
Thanks! For helping some of the better members of society CATS !!
These are the happiest cats I’ve ever seen in my life!
Helping and bonding with the fluffy angels is hart, when they find forever homes. A positive but inevitable possibility
I love all cats but especially floofies and/or calicos 😍😍😍

That's so sad about rescues percentages not surviving.
What is screening procedure for potential parents who want to Adopt, so a cat doesnt go to bad home and be traumatized again
