- A good quality recording (despite this being sourced from a 3rd generation tape) and a tense + energetic Husker Du show. The only issue the recording has was that it was running too fast. So I slowed it down by -4.0.

I was at this show when I was 16 with a fake ID. Still one of the best concerts I have ever attended in my 55 year old life. It was feverish, effusive, and downright beautiful from beginning to end. I left sweaty, a little drunk, a lot enlightened, and wholly satisfied.
I got in a couple years later with a fake ID, about the same age, perhaps 17. I'm pretty sure the ID wasn't actually looked at.
This recording sounds ridiculously good given the era and generation of the source tape.
Bless you, this rules! Reoccurring Dreams is an odyssey!
Crazy that New Day Rising hadn't even been released yet and they were already playing songs from Flip Your Wig!
They put out an incredible amount of material in a short time, record releases evidently didn't keep up with their back log of material.
@@baronvonraschke77 yes, in part that was SST's incompetence. Zen Arcade should've been released in late 83 early 84 but SST couldn't print enough to keep up with demand.
@@JuanCarruyo Fans were still scrambling to get a copy of Zen Arcade and the band is playing songs from the next albums. Seems to be a recurring theme. By the a time a new album came out, they were already playing songs from the next album.
thanks again Nikolai K
High quality sound given the source and one I hadn't heard before, thanks for the post!
Always fucking great
This is so fantastic!! It sounds great.
