Since creating my breathing model 'Shakti Breathe' off the back of my battle with severe mental health issues and gambling addiction, I have had the privilege of being able to help so many people heal from trauma.
I'm on a mission which is HUGE, but it's not impossible!!
On Saturday 21st June 2025, Shakti Breathe will be at the Utilita Arena, Newcastle, where we'll be attempting to break the world record for the largest number of people gathered in one place, to participate in a guided breath work session.
The current world record stands at 5280 and was set in China on this day (October 28th) in 2017. Now, that's a lot of people, so it's gonna take some beating, but, I have a venue that's big enough, so now I just need to fill it!!!
So, in order to incentivise you to take part, not only am I only charging £20 per ticket, I'm donating 20% of the profits to mental health charities and local charities in Newcastle, I'll be giving everyone who turns up, a goodie bag with MORE than £20 of vouchers inside for various local restaurants, cates, and experiences AND I'll be doing a LIVE draw during the event, which will see several of you winning some incredible donated prizes! And if we get more than 5280 people, you will each get a certificate emailed to you, to prove that you were a part of something AMAZING! Now come on, that's pretty cool!!
Oh, there's more... a very good friend of mine, who just happens to be an international pop star, is going to come along and sing a couple of songs for you at the end of the session, so we can fully embrace and heighten the experience, and maybe we can all switch our phone torches on to create a sky full of stars (it's not Chris Martin, btw).
Oh, and one more thing... in the evening, I'll be staging a HUGE music event, and my pop star friend will be doing a special guest spot, and you'll save money on that too, just by coming to the breathing session in the morning. Tickets go on sale December!
