very helpful! i just took a new blizzard to the vet and he asked about potential trauma to one eye. She had been like that since i got her so I was confused. Turns out she just has one eye that's half black! Glad to know she didn't suffer any trauma to that eye or anything (and makes me side eye that vet a little that he assumed that's what it was)
I gotta find a male black night to breed to my noir desire moon eye
Right!!!! I want to work that project in the future too! Maybe the Urban Gecko is working it now? Or Moon Eyes Black Night as well, but yeah fun projects to look forward to!
PS - Geckos Etc, Geckopia, Luna Geckos, or MorphMarket may have adult black nights for sale.

Im kinda new to breeding leopard geckos, i keep blizzards and super snows both. I purchased both as expressing the eclipse gene. How can you prove the eclipse gene in these morphs? Out cross to another morph expressing the eclipse gene?
Quick question, if both parents have the same mixed eyes genes for example both have snake eye on the left and red eye on the right will their babies have the same exact mixed eye or not?
Eclipse eyes are random to our knowledge right now meaning babies can get partial, full, or snakes eyes from any combination of parents eye traits.
I’m doing a experiment so I had an egg that was molding it was just laid so since it started molding I dumped the inside of the egg in a little glass cup like two inches tall and 4 inches long and it’s been two weeks since I did that and it’s still surviving the egg yolk hasn’t molded and it’s getting red veins so all the yolk is turning red like veins
If this leopard gecko grows like that and survive I’m gonna be shocked the glass cup is upright in a plastic bag to help keep moisture so it doesn’t dry out
Wait so you can remove the yolk from the egg is that what you're saying? that's crazy if so, keep us updated! :D :D
@@GeekyGeckoCreations I cut open one end of the egg and I slowly let the yolk and the baby slide out into the glass container hopefully that makes sense yes I hope it makes it just hopefully without issues I will definitely keep you guys posted on it 😃. I think the baby has been in the glass cup for 17 days now 38 more days hopefully it will make it all my babies this year have hatched on day 55
It works with chickens and other animals I don’t see why it wouldn’t with Leo’s. How did it go??

haha yeh sometimes for eclipse they do that in between thing! :D
@@GeekyGeckoCreations mine just may have eclipse lol... He does have specaling on his feet especially :) I bet he is a great base... I'll figure the albino het... It won't hurt to cross het albinos as these would be my personal pets. I've been reading
@@rdnkenki yeh for sure! I think everyone should be able to cross and do as they please, but then just sell the geckos honestly and up front with people as pets or telling people its pos het for this or that :D
You know how some sunglasses arent pitch black but dark but you can still see the eyes? Can eclipse do this too?

We have the cutest little diorite with eclipse eyes but the pupils are red. He is a feisty lil dude lol
I was trying to find an answer but I don't know if I got it or not lol. My gecko is an albino of one of the sorts. Mine looks closer to rainwater. One silver eye with some design in it but the other eye generally appears red during the day. Tonight I was using my led light to look in the tank and had a closer look at that eye and it appears as black possibly with a white slit.the problem is idk if the white was from my light or not.

Amazing video I have eclipse leopard geckos so this worked good for all my eclipse and albinos😊 You should make a vid of some of your hold backs of this years that would be a cool video just some ideas can’t wait for the live🎉
