Fun fact: when you make a mound under the sheep and then remove it while the sheep are still on the mound, they get a little umbrella and safely float down:)
It seems like a good cozy game, can’t wait to try it out for myself! It would be great for references, and: P.S. We need a Gilbert painting!! (if you feel up to it!)
As a fellow game dev, while the colours , day light and spline paths are very beautifully done, the most impressive part is the level of effort to get the geometry to change so seamlessly when merging new bits in. Houdini masters right there. Overall look like a great game
as someone who's learning to develop games, I'm also impressed of it. Most of them usually require you to remove the whole building and then change the terrain and then rebuild from the start/place it (if you saved the building as template)
Ive had this game on my wish list all last year, i can not wait for this to come out, whether for infinite references that make you feel like you're in a fairy tale, or just a nice peaceful way to relax i can not wait
The little cottages you can make just fills me with so much inspiration it’s such a fun little cozy game to just spread your creativity (especially since I’m also an interior and exterior designer)
As an artist and writer, I think this is cool! And it helps with my weird imagination and creativity and it possibly express it normally- But awwwww look at the sheep
This is both amazing for visual reference as an artist, and I'd legitimately pay money for a DLC and more environments, because looks PHENOMENAL for making a D&D map
I’ve been following the developing since the beginning and I’m so happy that it will release this year ! I can’t wait to try it out, the team making it is so kind and they are doing an impressive job on this game. And I totally agree with you on the part about using it as an art tool, I’m usually not motivated to draw buildings but this game makes me want to !
There was this wicked game called project spark on the Xbox. U got ur own little island and could build any natural feature; lakes/rivers (made a river run thru & fill a tunnel), mountains & peaks, rock formations (even iced them over). It was AWESOME! It truly was interesting to see how elevation and depth affected the color palette.
I’m actually in love with this on first sight and my first thought was planning for my 3D art and the fact it’s used for both build satisfaction and artwork makes this quite masterful in my eyes
i just saw this on another channel showcasing the game, you can apparently change the terrain height under a sheep, and when you lower the terrain height, the sheep will slowly fall down with an umbrella lolol
No way cuz as an artist I saw this on Pinterest and I absolutely have to have this game!! Buildings and lighting are the two things I really really need to work on!!
I have had my eye on this game for a while now and I’m so excited to play when it comes out! I never thought this could be used as an art tool and now I’m even more excited to play and paint/draw the things I create!
This game looks amazing! I’m so excited to play it and use it as reference in my drawings, and it looks so comforting too! Thanks for telling me about this game! It deserves way more recognition ❤
You could not possibly believe how remarkably accurate this entire thing is to my real life plans for the future as an aspiring architect with a love for stone houses. This is the house I hope to die in. This is it
OH MY GOSH THIS WOULD BE PERFECT FOR THE COMIC I AM WRITING! Thanks for always showing us cool stuff, Scott! Your illustrations based on the game are gorgeous! 🎉
This is such an adorable game! The style, the buildings you can create and of course all the adorable animals are really cool! 💞💖 Also side note Gilbert is such a sweetheart 🐑💜
I love cottage core and medieval styles. (Sheeply admitting I've been trying to 3d model my own for awhile) So I really love all the work into the building elements to the game, and how smooth it's performing (amazing!!!)
absolutely agree - I use videogames a lot for helping me visualize building design ideas I have (I use cocricot minecraft a lot) as for tiny glade, if you move the cliffs while a sheep is there, the sheep grabs an umbrealla and floats up safely :) I'm so excited to play
oh i remember seeing this in its early stages, this is gorgeous and it came together so well - i agree that it's good for art reference! lots of games are unexpectedly good for it, i really enjoy using minecraft to come up with compositions, the big scale means i cant get stressed in the details
As a writer whose mind isn’t very visual, I think this could also be a great tool to map out a house or building in a story :)
Ooooh, hadn't thought of that! Great idea! 🥰
Agree
Thats so true! I struggle to think of my building designs sometimes and i just wing it. This would help so much!
As a writer whose mind IS very visual, I'm also going to use this because thinking of entire layouts (and remembering them) is still very hard
Another good source for this is Planet Zoo :) in sandbox mode, you can build whatever you want, i have whole kingdoms in there.
Fun fact: when you make a mound under the sheep and then remove it while the sheep are still on the mound, they get a little umbrella and safely float down:)
THAT'S SO CUTEE 🥺🥺🥺
My jaw dropped in awe. That's soooo cute! ❤
How did you discover that?
🥹
Awwwwwwwww!❤
gilbert needs to become a recurring character on this channel now
agreed
Yup
Yeah!
*D E F I N I T E L Y*
agreed, Gilbert looks like such a goofy lil guy
It seems like a good cozy game, can’t wait to try it out for myself! It would be great for references, and:
P.S. We need a Gilbert painting!! (if you feel up to it!)
Omg yes painting NOW
yissss gilbert
25 days of Gilbert 😅
Like the 12 days of Christmas but it’s the 24 days of Gilbert where you draw Gilbert in different scenes for 24 days❤❤❤
Yes!
As a fellow game dev, while the colours , day light and spline paths are very beautifully done, the most impressive part is the level of effort to get the geometry to change so seamlessly when merging new bits in. Houdini masters right there. Overall look like a great game
no joke
Is it going to be on mobile?
@@Gh0st-GACHAprobably not
@@Gh0st-GACHAonly time will tell, if yes, then I would DEFINITELY install it on my devices :)
as someone who's learning to develop games, I'm also impressed of it. Most of them usually require you to remove the whole building and then change the terrain and then rebuild from the start/place it (if you saved the building as template)
Ive had this game on my wish list all last year, i can not wait for this to come out, whether for infinite references that make you feel like you're in a fairy tale, or just a nice peaceful way to relax i can not wait
same here! Unfortunately its only on PC so i gotta wait more😅
There’s a demo out on steam, grab it’s soooo good
As a sheep fan, thank you for petting the sheep 🙏
Oh my god, the procedural bricklaying is BEAUTIFUL. the walls look like they’re made of old stop-motion clay.
Thank you for showing us the nighttime glade! Those fireflies make it look magical ✨️
The game looks so cozy, I love the texture of the buildings. Gilbert is so cute!
the noises are so satisfying oh my god
This Game reminds of townscapes or whatever that one game where you click and buildings randomly pop up is
Yes, Townscaper! I love that game. I was thinking the same thing.
It’s made by those people I think, I think this is their next game
A tiny sculpture of Gilbert would be amazing! 1!1!!1!1!1! (I love Gilbert)
All fun and games til' you and Gilber hear "Welcome back to let's game it out"
I instantly heard “hey there it’s josh! The devs gave me a key so, New game!”
I am so jealous!
I've been following Tiny Glade since almost the beginning
That looks so cute, and very useful for artist indeed! Thank you for sharing this!
I'm so excited for this and the sheep are so cute ❤❤❤❤🎉🎉😊😊😊😊
This game looks awesome it is so beautiful
reminds me of townscaper, just in a different style. love that game
I think it’s by the same people but I might be wrong
I love Gilbert with all my heart now ❤
This looks beautiful and adorable
Actually, this seems excellent for improving my building drawing! I might try it out.
Gilbert is everything ❤
Awww! I love this and will definitely be playing it. And Gilbert is very cute
Youre an inspiration to me dude.
Cant wait to try this out
This is genuinely such a good tool to make environments quickly for comics and animation backgrounds. Like seriously, that will save so much time!!!
I can already tell this is gonna be a great cozy game
Something tells me Caryn and Connie would love this game
I love that the process of building anything looks like claymation. It's amazing to watch!
This looks like such a cool game! I have to check this out.
this feels like townscaper but more concentrated on one singular little place instead of a whole town. i love it
The little cottages you can make just fills me with so much inspiration it’s such a fun little cozy game to just spread your creativity (especially since I’m also an interior and exterior designer)
Could you try painting miniatures? I think it would be interesting to see how 2D talent translates to a 3D object.
As an artist and writer, I think this is cool! And it helps with my weird imagination and creativity and it possibly express it normally-
But awwwww look at the sheep
Games with procedural structures you can build are incredibly satisfying.
This is both amazing for visual reference as an artist, and I'd legitimately pay money for a DLC and more environments, because looks PHENOMENAL for making a D&D map
Yes, this is why I absolutely love games, they help *A LOT* when it comes to perspective, lighting/shading, color contrast.❤
The colors are feast for the eyes indeed. Thank you for sharing this. ❤
I never would have thought that would help an artist! Thanks for the idea!
Aw, i would want to live there too! That looks so idyllic and calm and sheep are the sweetest.
I would TOTALLY build a whole ass kingdom then use it as a reference for my drawings lol
I can just imagine the CRAZY builds people would make. Too bad it’s not out yet
as someone who has been following the development of the game for months, so happy that you have promoted it!
There was this wicked game called project spark on the Xbox. U got ur own little island and could build any natural feature; lakes/rivers (made a river run thru & fill a tunnel), mountains & peaks, rock formations (even iced them over). It was AWESOME! It truly was interesting to see how elevation and depth affected the color palette.
the mechanics are so crunchy and satisfying
if there is a heavan this is like a private space you get
Omfgrgr Gilbert the sheep is too adorable!!🥰🥰
I- I just want to aggressively pet him aaaahhh❤️
i love the crunchy sounds of the buildings
I NEED THIS! not even just for art references it just seems so fun
Ahhh the sounds and colors!! This is so visually stimulating and tbh i was burnt out but this made me feel better- love ya scott have a good day
Why was I sold the second he said you could build things. The sims goblin in my brain came out just then. “Buildings? Structures?! Say no more.”
I’m actually in love with this on first sight and my first thought was planning for my 3D art and the fact it’s used for both build satisfaction and artwork makes this quite masterful in my eyes
proud to be the one who named gilbert! ❤ so excited for this game, can’t wait to play around with it.
The procedural bricks are so satisfying! I need this game!!!
This game looks so peaceful and adorable oml 😭❤️
i just saw this on another channel showcasing the game, you can apparently change the terrain height under a sheep, and when you lower the terrain height, the sheep will slowly fall down with an umbrella lolol
This looks like SUCH a cute lil game! I NEED to play it
i’ve been waiting for this game for ages!!! it’s so cool to see other people that i look up to noticing it too
I've had this game on my wish list for ages! This makes me want this game even more!
No way cuz as an artist I saw this on Pinterest and I absolutely have to have this game!! Buildings and lighting are the two things I really really need to work on!!
Now THIS looks like my type of game! I lovee architecture (both building it and painting it) ❤️
Petting the sheep is totally the best part
This was specifically my plan to use the game for setting scenes for paintings. I'm so excited your paintings came out lovely
This is so useful! You can make an exact replica of the environment you’re trying to draw and use it as a reference!!
I can only think of recreating my favorite dwarf fortresses in a way i can see them clearly. This is cool
I can not express how excited i am for this game. I've been following the creator for ages, and i just can't wait
This looks beautiful! I think I’ll get this when it comes out
I have had my eye on this game for a while now and I’m so excited to play when it comes out! I never thought this could be used as an art tool and now I’m even more excited to play and paint/draw the things I create!
This game looks amazing! I’m so excited to play it and use it as reference in my drawings, and it looks so comforting too! Thanks for telling me about this game! It deserves way more recognition ❤
I love this! I’ve been following the development and their newsletter for years❤
That looks really fun!❤
I’ve been waiting for this game for a while! It looks like such a calming game to play after a long hard day.
You could not possibly believe how remarkably accurate this entire thing is to my real life plans for the future as an aspiring architect with a love for stone houses. This is the house I hope to die in. This is it
it looks gorgeous! and so peaceful too.
What a great idea! I'm a very casual painter but this is such a great way to get scenery!
OH MY GOSH THIS WOULD BE PERFECT FOR THE COMIC I AM WRITING! Thanks for always showing us cool stuff, Scott! Your illustrations based on the game are gorgeous! 🎉
As someone who supports indie games with a passion this made me so happy to see thank you for showing it off 💚💚
Tiny glade has been on my wishlist for quite a while! So excited!
Omg I've had this in my wishlist for years. I love it.
I would hang out there too. And I can’t wait to play ❤
This is what it's like to wish for a cottage core life, this is the true cottage core dream
The human instinct to pet the sheep. I love it < 3
This is such an adorable game! The style, the buildings you can create and of course all the adorable animals are really cool! 💞💖 Also side note Gilbert is such a sweetheart 🐑💜
I love cottage core and medieval styles. (Sheeply admitting I've been trying to 3d model my own for awhile)
So I really love all the work into the building elements to the game, and how smooth it's performing (amazing!!!)
honestly yeah this looks like a great tool for artists that want to learn how to draw backgrounds
Gilbert still needs a lot of friends and his own picture in this beautiful landscape ❤🥰
it’s been so long since I’ve seen you on my feed and the first time I see you you’re talking about my favorite up-and-coming new game!! 🥰
I don't know why, but I was waiting for it to get cursed.
No wait, I remember why, the Internet taught me to expect that.
I think this could be an amazing tool for backgrounds and building worlds for your characters to all those writers out there.
the first time i saw the sheep i started sobbing hard, it made me so emotional i cant wait for it to be relised
Whoever did the sound design for this game i love you
This looks so cozy! I can play for hours!❤
absolutely agree - I use videogames a lot for helping me visualize building design ideas I have (I use cocricot minecraft a lot) as for tiny glade, if you move the cliffs while a sheep is there, the sheep grabs an umbrealla and floats up safely :) I'm so excited to play
Ive been dying to play this for ages. Ive had it on my wishlist and will be buying a copy as soon as its open for release ♥
I cant wait for tiny glade to come out! I was at the stream for a bit and it looks amazing, the pet sheep are so cute aswell ❤🐑
You had me as soon as I saw the sheep at the beginning.
oh i remember seeing this in its early stages, this is gorgeous and it came together so well - i agree that it's good for art reference! lots of games are unexpectedly good for it, i really enjoy using minecraft to come up with compositions, the big scale means i cant get stressed in the details
