A video looking at Kazui and Ichika - the children of Ichigo and Orihime, and Rukia and Renji respectively, is long overdue!
To make things a little more interesting however, I wanted to look at them in respect to their current roles in the Hell Arc, and what might be in store for them in the future based on the mysteries we've already been presented with.
How and why is Kazui opening portals to Hell? Is it really him doing it? And how did Ichika sense the Hell-Hollow when no one else could? Let's discuss!

What's the deal with Kazui and Ichika in the Hell Chapter? How did Ichika sense the Hell-Hollow, and how is Kazui opening portals to Hell itself? Let's speculate with some theories - let me know your thoughts too!

I do not know about Ichika other than something to with Rukia (but who knows with Kubo after TYBW), but I would presume Kazui has something to do with what happened with Yhwach's reiatsu.
Something to be why and how he knows about and can open natural pathways into Hell.
Or he got what Ichigo might have lost after Yhwach stole his power in TYBW.
at this point i think the Hell Arc is just a mirage. We arent getting an arc. We got 1 chapter and we arent getting more.
Kubo sold us the sizzle not the steak.
It's also important to note that the Skeletal Doormen had bandages and seals over one of their eyes when we first saw them. Those have since been removed.
For a wild theory, what if the eyes signify that the skeletons are regenerating? And once they are fully flesh they'll hold the door open permanently, if not escape from the door leaving it wide open. It would be wild if the doormen weren't just a part of some Hell Invasion, but were the main villain and the instigators themselves. A sealed monster (or pair of monsters) hidden in plain sight.
I have a theory that might be plausible, but a bit out there. Yhwach's reiatsu not only disappears, but in a last ditch effort to make good on his promise, some of the remnants that remained after the fact went straight into Kazui, therefore he is being led astray/controlled somewhat by those remnants.
There is something chilling about the idea that a innocent child has been condemning souls to Hell. I love the creepy vibes Kazui gives off, as well as the pure gremlin energy Ichika has!
Wonder how he'll react if he knows the truth. Like will the kid got depressed or something? He's too optimistic for my liking

the way kazui manifests his shinigami powers reminds of how early stages of ichigos fullbring
Maybe it’s an even further blending of the powers he inherited from both his parents.
Could be since a fullbringer is made when a parent is attacked by a hollow before they are born and since orihime and ichigo fits that part it does make sense.

Perhaps Ichika's ability to sense the hell creature comes form the connection to the Hogyoku? Rukia effectively had it as part of her from some time. It's possible it left an imprint on her, and given it's nature it might have some connection with Hell itself leaving her capable of sensing the Hell-Hollows.
This or Rukia is actually a hell hybrid, because we do know she has an unknown origin from chapter 266. That could be the reason why Kisuke choose to hide the hogyoku in Rukia.

yeah agree, especially as you would think this is one of the few things that might make osho actually actively step in (since one of the five ancestors committed the original sin primarily to put a "lid" over the pit of hell)
From what we’ve seen in the anime additions to TYBW, people can be immune to the almighty and precognitive abilities. Given Kazui’s unique lineage and immense power, he might be born with the ability. Osho may be unable to see him from the Royal Palace
Aside from Ichigo’s son and the Soul Society unwittingly condemning souls to Hell, what absolutely creeps me out the most is that Hell has been observing them all along. From the beginning of the series all the way to the TYBW, they’ve always been here. Watching and waiting.

I think he's from hell and I think he's centuries old. And just playing the part of a boy. Maybe ichigos real sons soul is in hell. That boy is just too happy to see those gates and too manipulative and smart.
It would be way more impactful of the Sternritter weren't already doing that for millennia(or however long it's been before they attacked)

Ichika is like, 11 years old? And not only is she somehow a soul reaper already, but she also has her own zanpakuto as well. This kid’s potential power is bloody insane
My big question upon seeing her was how she seems to be age 11? Toshiro is a big issue on showing aging being slowed down.

i heard they are both around 6 or 7 since karin and yuzu were around 11 the beginning of the series and kazui and ichika seem to be younger than they were
@@friedkiko The final chapter takes place 10 years after the TYBW, so they're definitely single-digit at that point. NBFH is a couple years later iirc, so they're probably 10 at that point (and for the potential Hell Arc)
@@bynosaurus4024 Toshiro's a special case no matter what; he's apparently older than Momo, and she definitely aged past him. It's entirely possible it's tied to how much power they have and the nature of their Zanpakuto Spirit
As much as I'm tired of hearing about the hell arc, I truly do hope that Kubo decides to continue the story and actually make it happen. I really really do. I have so very few happinesses in my life anymore and this would truly make me happy before I die.

I don't know you but I truly hope from my heart that you can find happiness and peace during this life time man, Bleach also helps me find happiness when I'm going through dark days, and yeah, I think it's something we have in common. Much more than an anime and manga, Bleach is memories and freedom. Wish you all the light and love!
Hi I want to share some extra information from the novels that you maybe missed:
Ichika hasn't graduated from the academy, in chapter 686 at least. From WDKALY it's explained that immediately after the TYBW, due to losing so many soul reapers, the 6 year academy curriculum changed to a 4 year program followed by an apprenticeship. But the apprentices are still academy students. However in the Hell Chapter, she has possibly graduated by then or is close to graduation. Also, as seen in Chapter -17, we see that academy student receive asauchi in their first year. So Ichika having transformed her asauchi into a zanpakuto already possibly just reflects how powerful she is. Kaien, Toshiro, and Gin likely had zanpakuto earlier that other students too.
As for Kazui, in the BLEACH JET recent art book, Kubo adds some information about Ichika & Kazui. Here it is mentioned Kazui's "favourite thing" in his hoodie, while Ichikai's "favorite thing" is Renji. Kazui is a human with inherited hollow powers and we see dark spiritual energy emanating from his hoodie as he assumes his "soul reaper" form. As he is human, it is likely that he uses his hoodie as a medium to initiate his fullbring. Which is similar to Ichigo's 2nd incomplete fullbring form where he was clad in dark spiritual energy reminiscent of his soul reaper robes. Kazui should bea fullbring so I believe that's all he's doing. I don't think his body is transforming into a spiritual body.And I believe those flying fish ghosts as simply engorged goldfish. Goldfish can grow to become quite large if left alone in the right environments.
I assumed Kazui was using a fullbring since he wasn't given an asauchi and white didn't passed down to him. And the fullbring is the easiest power to use naturally for him, since shikai, resurrection or vollstandig all require conditions that he doesn't meet. But i didn't know his hoodie was his "favourite thing", that's a cool info. Now i'm sure he is using a fullbring to pour out his powers.

@@AJ-kt5zo He can if he is given an asauchi, but he doesn't have one for now. And he is already kinda using his hoodie as an asauchi.
What he'll do imo will be the same thing he's doing now, using fullbring to mimic his dad as a shinigami. He will develop a technique to release all his powers at once via his fullbring, and call it bankai, even if that would be a "fake bankai"
It might just be Kubo using the imagery but the ritual Kazui is doing that opens the hell mouth is actually a form of prayer in Shinto. The idea is that the clapping gets the Kami/god's attention and the bow is a sign of respect to them. I wonder if Kazui was unknowingly beckoning some sort of god of hell, like the inverse of the Soul King or something.

Or maybe his mix of lineage along with him touching that dark remains of reiatsu left from Juha changed him and created some link with hell. Or the reiatsu that Kazui touched was originally part of the soul king and ended up being used to create and confine the hell dimension. Maybe some powerful entity from hell is manipulating the naive Kazui
@@nicolaemihai3581 Ok maybe but where would a connection to hell come from? As far as we know right now neither Ichigo, Orihime, or Yhwach have any connection to hell. But hey who knows until Kubo writes more all we can do is speculate right.
@@Aurelius-bf3yx One of the main motivations of what they did to the SK was to "put a lid on Hell", whatever that means. I think it's from CFYOW. Yhwach then absorbed the SK. That's the only connection between them.
@@aliveandwellinisrael2507 That's no connection, that would be like saying a person is part door because they held open a door for a while. There's no connection between Reio and Hell, that we know of. Kubo could of course invent a connection In the new arc but until he does so, there's nothing to go on but Fan theories.
I hope the vengeful Szayelaporro from hell can get Mayuri to show some kind of emotional reaction

The independent eyeballs were interesting to me because when Yhwach soul king reiatsu spilled over , it was eyeballs as well, which might be connected
Maybe the 2 white fish is related to Hell or Ukitake since Ukitake's Zanpaktou is "Law of the Twin Fish". As messengers or spies.
The 2 fish theme being used for the Hell Arc is ominous. Ukitake might have a major role, for the good or bad side, not sure.

I think Kazui just put his hand inside the opening in the Garganta that Yhwach's reiatsu was opening, but didn't do anything to Yhwach's reiatsu.
It's all of Aizen's plan.... A son born of Ichigo to manipulate into opening the gates of hell so Aizen can rule Hell, and become an immortal god.
I doubt it. Ultimately, I think he wants to be the new soul king. His plans have always revolved around him ruling soul society and changing it into his own image. He probably would use it like a tool just like hueco muendo, though.
With Aizen's spiritual pressure apparently no longer around to hold back the threat of Hell, I wonder where he is... where could he have gone? Hueco Mundo? Maybe roped into the royal guard? I hope we find out information on that. You know, if we ever get anymore chapters lol.
They explained it as Muken is a separate dimension apart from the other worlds and while he's there his ambient power can't keep hell closed.

When I first saw the fish cloud it sent me back to watching the Dragon Ball rerun as a kid with Goku and flying nimbus!
My personal greatest wish is the Hell’s ruler to be a woman figure. We’ve never got a proper female antagonist in Bleach and we all know how damn well Kubo can make female characters.
Imagine if the next antagonist is the analogue of Lilith, Mother Of Hell. Bleach now has a strong presence of family relationships in it: Ichigo and Orihime have a child, Rukia and Renji have a child, Mayuri has a child version of Nemu. Wouldn't in be perfect if the next antagonist ends up being a mother figure from hell who manipulates the young generation and is particularly interested in Kazui? Maybe she wants her own child, maybe she HAD her own child and lost it (Yhwach’s mother, maybe?). I’d love if such antagonist would befriend Kazui and take him with her to Hell, only to drive both Ichigo and Orihime completely insane. Just imagine Orihime’s behaviour if her own child ends up being befriended and kidnapped by a hellish woman who wishes to replace her as a mother for him. It’s a perfect scenario for Orihime to show her never-before-seen rage and power.
Also, Isshin and Byakuya being killed would be a great way to further develop the characters of Ichigo, Rukia and Renji.

It is his fault though, he wants die under zaraki too much to increase his own abilities, considering his potential and spirit, he could have been one hell of a character.
I wonder if Kazui's wide-eyed innocence and desire to help others without a second thought it going to get one of his parents killed, just like Ichigo (with the assist of Ywach stealing all the Quincy powers) did with his mother. If Kubo took Ichigo entirely off the board early in this arc and left the others to pick up the pieces, that'd be an incredible move.
I also REALLY want to know if Gin and Tousen might be among the Captains sent to hell by the ritual. Just because they were traitors wouldn't automatically mean the Soul Society wouldn't want to return their reiatsu to the earth. Rangiku having to fight or maybe even RESCUE Gin from hell would be my dream come true.

Kazui's shift between forms could also indicate that the wall between the worlds is thin to him. I find it likely that those who have killed will find it harder to notice the denizens of hell so Kazui and Ichika will have a leg up over the established cast.
The Hell beside you part reminds me for some reason to Samus from the Horus Heresy.
Got really excited when Kubo put out the "new" chapter.. but quickly became disappointed when nothing else was released.. would love to see more with the two kids.. thanks for the analysis..
Idk, my other idea for theory of Ichika sensing the hollow is maybe because her mother(which is Rukia) once held the hogyoku inside her(?) Idk, just a random thought when he said about that.
Ichigo is a soul king candidate who's a shinigami, quincy, hollow tribrid who had a kid with a woman who was blessed by the hogyoku. Aint now way that kid coming out normal. Id bet he has some weird connection to yhwach. Ichikas connection to hell is a little more mysterious tho
After Watching this video, ive actually had some new revelations of about all of this:
1. I think The Hell Arc is meant to be an allegory of "The Road to Hell is paved with Good Intentions", as quite literally Kazui has been under the impression he's been sending souls to a better place, while in reality he's been helping the forces of Hell. It could also be symbolic of the entire series in a way, especially if every major action taken by our heroes has somehow all been leading to Hell's invasion.
2. I like to think that at the end of 686 that with Death and Strawberry the roles are reversed this time around with Ichika being the Strawberry and Kazui being Death as a type of foreshadowing.
3. I really like the idea of Kazui using Fullbring via his hoodie as his method of Shinigami Transformation. I feel like Fullbring as a power system was severely under explored in the main story, and id love more excuses too! That said, I had originally had the theory that due to Kazui's possibly complex spiritual make up, he had the strange ability to flip his body "inside out", with his Soul on the outside and his phyiscal body somehow stored within his spiritual form? This would also kinda act as a connection to the Hell Hollows as it was mentioned that their hollow holes are now "on the outside of there bodies"?
Does anyone else also think kazui might have absorbed a portion of the quincy king's powers? im rooting for that idea lol
Hope they also cover yhwach's mother thing like I want to know that what was her reaction abt sk being sealed and in hell arc we also can get the 5th unknown clan and want to see how would ichigo react after learning abt the sin and I also want a anime original movie abt og gotei 13 vs yhwach and showing abt more world building,how yhwach grew like if he was all alone and what ichibei did after yhwach's birth, how yhwach built quincy,how after losing the war he developed quincy way more likr development of new quincy tech and volstanding + his relationship with his quincy members before and after 1st war.

@@Baweybawey I mean a movie abt how from origin of quincy went and stuff to present day will make us understand quincy and yhwach as whole a lot more and the quincy in anime somewhat feel bland so I guess a movie will be best thing to cover things like this to give more context and make them more exciting.
the guy is just the son of god dude theres nothing theres no reason to go into his mother and most likely when he was a baby gave her power and just killed her when taking power back, theres pretty much not all else you could add to that

I'll need to read it again, but I thought there was something suggesting that the first part (Kazui leading a soul to Hell) takes place a few months after the rest of the chapter, suggesting that he only started doing it after meeting the skeletons' eye.
As for Ichika, I always just assumed that she's looking at it while the lieutenants are in a circle looking outwards (in the picture of her noticing it, all of them are specifically looking away). To my knowledge she's not sensing it in any special way, it's just that the Hell Hollows lack the spiritual pressure the stronger Shinigami expect to sense - forcing one to rely on their normal senses. It might also be interesting if one's ability to sense the Hell Hollows depends on their degree of Sin (or however a soul is judged re: Soul Society vs. Hell), and children just innately have a better sense for them. Ultimately though, I still believe she simply saw it because it appeared in the middle of the group, and she was watching from off to the side.
Re: Kazui's true power - I'm largely expecting him to have a degree of Soul King power (specifically the first Soul King, possibly partially reincarnated). Squashing SK Yhwach's Almighty eyeballs definitely suggests he's got similarly broken powers

I really hope there is a hell arc because it has been teased, but never fleshed out. Plus seeing how powerful Ichigo's son is a child would be cool as well and seeing someone like Ichika would be neat as well. They both obviously have strong spiritual pressure and I would love to learn more about why that is
I think those fishes are some sort of Ukitake's sword manifestation, maybe a hint for his bankai. And Ukitake must have something to do with Kazui sending people there.
Kazui's ability to summon his shihakusho and zanpakuto feels more like when Ichigo was using his fullbringer abilities than shifting to his ghost form. But we didn't get to encounter Ichigo changing to fullbring with someone who can't see spirits so...
Also, I always thought that Kazui grabbing the remaining source of Ywach/spirit king was absorbed by him, hence the ability to summon hell portals at will ( spirit King holding the power to manage the different "realms" ' equilibrium, and so probably able to create connections between them ).
Its pretty cool that kazui's sealed sword is just a colored version of ichigos old bankai

About the fish.
I do remember in the early chapters or burn the witch it's mentioned that there a bit of variety in Japan as well but shinigami kill indiscriminately, so maybe hollows are only the variation of "dark dragons" and there are other spiritual species than just deceased humans ??

so where its ukitake's sword that comes through the gate, i wonder if there will be a plot involving who the first sword we see come out of it waaaay back belonged to. That one had red tattoos all over their arm, with samurai shoulder guards on. could be a long dead enemy that old man yama killed or perhaps a long dead soul reaper.
It must have been from a former captain.
Maybe Kazui is feeling the overwhelming spiritual pressure that the dead captains left off and is unknowingly condemning souls to hell to balance the offset that has been left 🤷🏽♂️
Maybe a part of the hogyoku was still inside rukia or some residual type thing. It would explain her extreme growth as a character. And then when she had her daughter that piece or residual part created a unique soul. Like Ichigo kind of

Remember that the Zanpakuto is used on souls to clear minor sins in life, the fact a zanpaktuto NOT used most likely souls that forgot to return a library book late once because you forgot maybe enough to make you go through the h-l gate. The Soul Society may have deemed it to cruel or even not enough "good" souls go through so they added Soul guiding to the list of responsibilities for Soul Reapers.
My theory for who exactly is in contact with Kazui is actually his grand-uncle, Kaien! Szayelaporro is confirmed to be in Hell and, if he's there, then I think it's far to say that Aaronerio is also in Hell too just as is shown in the Hell Movie intro. Aaronerio hate Kaien's corpse and I don't think it's too much of a stretch to think that maybe Kaien's soul might have been sent down there with him. If Kaien could get free, I'm sure he'd be very, very eager to meet his grand-nephew, especially since Kazui seems to have the ability to move between worlds so easily. I'd even say that the spectral fish are probably the souls of fish. We know an "Animal Realm" exists as that's where Komamura's clan was sent as punishment, hence why they look like wolves. Animal souls probably exist in a different realm than human ones, but Kazui has the ability to interact with all souls and breach the boundaries between the worlds.

Though why I think it's Kaien is because I could see exactly how he would up in Hell, through his connection with Aaronerio, we still don't know if all the souls comprising a Hollow also go to Hell with them when they die after all. You'd need to make a case for why Masaki would wind up there, like maybe if ALL Quincies went there.
I do like the idea you proposed with the Hell Butterfly but I think Kazui having caused an effect on Ichika would be a nice callback to how Ichigo had caused changes in his friends due to their exposure to his spiritual pressure manifesting their Fullbring powers or whatever actually happened at the start of Bleach.
What if it turns out that the kid is a nutjob and he's doing this for funsies, wouldn't that be a plot twist

Seems to me this all started with the last remnants of The Almighty's essence going after the Kurosaki Family. But where I differ on what happens is. I don't think that Kazui is so powerful he obliterated it. But he absorbed it instead and that's how he's able to see and do what he's doing.
another thing to notice when Ichika senses the hell hollow, is that you get a brief glance at the side of Szayel Aporro's face.
I wonder if there will be a dark twist , that Kazui is maybe a reincarnation of that first unknown nobel how was intetested in Hell with presumably is the Worden of Hell maybe or his vessel , or sonething/ someone that predates all of that , it was always in Hell , maybe the will of hell. Or the Warden wants Kazui .
I always assumed that Kazui transforming into a shinigami was some kind of fullbring like Ginjo.

Kazui pretty much carry Ichigo former Bankai as his unreleased Zanpakuto
actually for kazui it could be a similar case with chad where it just coats over his human body and he doesn't go full spiritual. technically kazui does qualify as a fullbringer since orihime got attacked by her hollow brother, he might actually be in the sorta situation that happened with ichigo during the fullbringer arc except there wasn't a ginjo situation to drain it and he raised it to the level of being a shinigami based on ginjo's theory.
I saw a post where someone theorized that the soul Kazui sent to Hell at the start of the chapter and that pinkish colored hollow at 15:09 might be one and the same.

The Ichika Abarai reminds me of the Teory that Rukia is the son of Hell and his sister is the other half of Rukia true self and more things
Pretty sure during the times we’ve seen Ichigo in his vasto lorde form, especially in the hell verse movie. It seems to be implied though he is unaware that Ichigo is the king of Hell, hence he is able to destroy it and break chains that should not be able to be broken. In that sense that would make his son a prince of hell and maybe that’s what Kubo was going for
I know Bleach was never super focused on the romance aspect of things (most shounen Manga rarely are) but I do find it odd that so few characters had any children over the course of their life. Why did only the main three (Ichigo, Orihime, Rukia) as well as Renji have any kids. No one else were shown to have some, including Soul Reapers who've been alive for hundreds of years. Some of them are from noble families, you'd think securing an heir would be very important for them considering the risk of their occupation.

I'd like to think that kazui is closer to the soul king than even ichigo was which is why he's so special. He's the son of ichigo who has all the powers in the universe and inoe who (according to the light novels) has the power of the soul king (via the nails I believe) and possibly one of the most powerful ones.
Sometimes I don't quite get the colour choice used for panels. The hell hollows are hollows so white makes sense, but if they were black they'd be much more menacing. Szayeloporro's only been in hell for a few years and he's already turning black. Having the allies and enemies be contrasting colours is great and all, but it's alright to have them be the same as well. No one would be confused
I have theory that Kazui is smiliar to yhwach being the that he is a son of a soul king or in ichigos case a soul king canidate and because of that he has godlike power similiar to Yhwach which is why he was so easily able to destroy the remaider of his essance with just a touch
The theory that Hell Butterfly being the reason how Ichika were able to perceive Hell Hollows makes most sense to me. It's quite transparent that Hell Butterflies are gonna play a much bigger role in the following plot.
We're going to have a Doom scenario and it's all on the Shinigami hands. Who knows, maybe humans will get involved since there's no way to conceal a potentially destructive attack from hell's monsters, and Shunsui's capitancy is very transparent and changed. Either way the implications are wild and serve as a perfect revival for the saga.

For Kazui I have 2 theories : first i don't think he's using a zanpakuto. It would be strange that Nimaya gave him an asauchi and that he would be able to make it appear and disappear at will, and White didn't passed down to him since he's still in Ichigo.
So like Ichigo who's using his "shinigami faucet" to pour out all his different sources of power, it semms Kazui is actually using his "fullbringer faucet" to pour out his powers. His apparence and sword would just come from the fact that he considere himself a shinigami like his dad.
The way his powers manifest is more similar to a fullbring, and it would make sense since it's a power exclusive to (some) humans and it would be easier for Kazui to naturally use it rather than a resurrection, a vollstandig or a shikai that all requires particular conditions. Maybe he has also inherit some of his mother's powers that are a mix between a fullbring and the hogyoku's will. That could give him some type of reality warping power.
His link to hell imo either come from his dad, because Ichigo has a particular link to death, he died twice and a lot of other things. Hisagi also found that Kisuke was actually experimenting to create a "demonic shinigami", and there is the page where we can see all of Ichigo's sources of power with his face divided in 4 with a shinigami side, a human/fullbring side, a hollow side with white, and a side with a skull that has a black tattoo on it, the kind of tattoo we only saw in chapter 12 on the hand that came from the Hell gate. There is a high probability that Ichigo has some kind of Hell link/origin/power, so it would be logical that this power passed down to his child like all of his other powers.
The other thing would be taking inspiration from Saint Seiya since we know it's one of the big inspiration of the manga. Kazui could be a vessel for some kind of Hell entity, maybe a Hell reflection of the soul king, like Shun in Saint Seiya who was Hades reincarnation. But my 2 explications doesn't exclude each other. And since the only real "afterlife" in Bleach is actually Hell (shinigami and hollows are living beings and Kazui knows it), maybe Kazui is just innocently thinking he send people to the afterlife. For Yhwach maybe he destroyed him but it's also possible that he absorded him.
Finally Ichika, my explanation is that she's actually not a pure shinigami but a hybrid. How ? Her mother. Yes for me Rukia has a link to hell. It starts from the 266 chapter cover.
Early on when Kubo was drawing a character and his name for his chapter cover, he wrote the names with different font styles for each races : shinigami names with black japanese ink, quincy with a blue imperial font, visored with a kind of pop art font, arrancar with a kind of gothic font.
But Rukia is the only character that have a different one, the first part of her name is in black ink like the other shinigamis, but the second part font is unknown, unlike any other. And when someone ask to Kubo if there was a secret behind this he replied : "Yes, but i won't tell you because i could draw it one day". And this unknown origin has to be Hell related. And isn't that strange that Rukia has to temporarily kill herself to use her zanpakuto ability ? As if it was coming from the frozen Hell in Dante's Inferno. And that's why imo Ichika can sense those kind of Hell hollows, beacuse she's a Hell hybrid like her mother.

I think kazui is in a way a new but different soul king an anomaly, I believe he will be able to shift in-between shinigami,Quincy,fullbringer etc .. forms and abilities at will and will probably learn how to do them all at once
I have a weird theory: if I can use dnd vernacular here. I see the relationship of hell and Kazui as more warlock-en. Meaning hell is providing some of its power to kazui and in return he is sending the selective few to hell. Not a lot of evidence but seeing the eyes came from the gate, a possibility
or maybe making the hell movie canon, rukia being reincarnated in hell may have given her some connection that’s passed on to ichika
So i know it's non-canon, and not from the source material, but there was a whole movie about ichigo going to hell. He was even given immense power from the jailers of hell, albeit briefly.

Do you think Ichika's zanpakuto will have something to do with summertime because of Rukia cold= winter Byakuya cherry blossoms= spring. Like it could be thunderstorm based on either wind water or mostly lighting or all three or heat baesd or just straight up fire.

I want Aizen to come back as the main villain. Have him get broken out of muken by denizens of hell and take the throne there. Him commanding the former gotei 13 in an effort to once again become the soul king.
