7 Simul is Insane!!!! | 4.81 Official Clock Average

4.70, (4.18), 4.55, (6.83), 5.18 = 4.81 PR Average
This average was something I never would’ve expected. Going into this average, I had a really bad mindset. Debuting 7 Simul Flip in round 1 with terrible results and DNFing the first solve of round two having to check the back with a trash average make me really nervous for finals. I wanted to get an average that actually represents my global, as my old PR was over a second slower than what I averaged.
Globaling Low 5, I was hoping for a sub 5.5 average and maybe a sub 4 single, but I never would have expected what was to come. After just the first solve of the average, I was already somewhat content with the result that I had achieved. Counting a sub 5 after the second solve with a low 4 single was insane. After this, I felt really confident with the upcoming solves, with a 4.55 following the second solve. After the fourth solve, I had locked PR, but was anxious about the outcome of the last solve. Playing it really safe on the solve, I was able to lock a sub 5 average. This average also made me unnemisize Martin :)

He uses bpaul 7 simul flip, it’s super easy and he taught it to me in like 5 minutes. You should try and learn it, it will make you a lot faster and will make the transition to normal 7 simul easier!
