I have never played D&D or any other miniature war games.. I find the craft amazing to watch. I began the hobby of automotive scale model building at a very young age, probably 10 years old, right away with glue kits; skipping the snap-together kits. I always thought about building a complete garage for the models. My best friend and I would stay over each other's house on weekends, mine on Friday night and then his the next night...we'd stay awake as long as we could building our cars. While building our model cars, we would talk about how we should build the shop (garage) for them, even drawing blueprints...little did I know I was planning a diorama.
I found using crushed glass you can get at the craft store over the flickering LED painted with transparent yellows and oranges lightly dry brushed black will give you a nice glowing coal effect
What an awesome build. A torch light at the front door, a forge out back, and a playable interior. I specially love the little details like the missing roof tiles with the wood showing through.
So good. Love the magnets and especially the sword sign arm. I picked up a bunch of ideas for making my blacksmith building look a lot better: textured ground by the forge, painted embers in the fire, flocking on the stone, and more. Thanks for sharing. Cheers, --Bo

This is the first video of yours I watch(for some reason I can not understand why that didn't happen before today??); but this might be the best tabletop terrain build I have seen in a very, very, very long time! 10/10 tutorial and result. Only thing I would have done differently is not use a chipboard as base, it can warp. Either styrene or foam, or nothing. Those plans remind me of when I used Hirst Arts molds, building with the dental plaster bricks with plans like that made it so damn easy. I ofc stopped using Hirst Arts like many, many others, when he went crazy and demanded people who were using his molds to cast, build and sell terrain pay him a % of the profits. Can you imagine if a company who sells hammers would ask a % of each kitchen the carpenter buildt? I will be checking out ALL of your videos his weekend. But, those trees....nah, they are no good, haha.
