Dude this is the best example and explanation for Bausen's law so far I think. Even in this worst case scenario it still works. It works all the time and there is nothing enemies can do to stop you (well, almost nothing). The cost of this strategy though is that Rumble was also kinda fed, yes, Sion has a gold lead but it doesn't mean that Rumble has a low amount of gold.

Yeah, the law is absolute useful in bad matches, it makes my enemy feed, but i am also not behind, so the strat is mega useful

The flaw in the strategy and the way to exploit it is to pick a carry. Because while you're accelerating yourself, the other person's getting accelerated a lot too. And top laners tend to be like 1v9 pub stompers so if the sion accelerates one of them, it's possible it doesn't matter if his other lanes go even or win, they're just going to get steamrolled by whatever it is that's getting all this gold top lane
Only a few champions meet the criteria where he can’t flip the script and just go tank and kill. Like jax and fiora are so broken so there’s no build that works. But stuff that’s Uber late game like Camille and Kayla don’t have great lanes into sion when played normally. You’ll notice he will only go this build into champions that destroy tank sion. So your not wrong that a couple broken carry’s slip the cracks of the two builds but in general it synergies well

So at 14'19 in game, he has a 700g lead. Now think about it : he got 4 turret plates. Baus law is : 175 = 300, or since the recent patch, it's actually 125 = 300. If we do -125*4 + 300*4, which is -500 + 1200, we get... yes... +700. The gold diff purely comes from his law.

it’s even funnier bc on a separate twitch clip he doesn’t even know that the editors show his losses on UA-cam too he was like “I’m gonna have to talk to my editors”
There is certainly something to be said over how mentally stimulating it is to watch lol youtubers uploading losses, especially when you get older.
As much as i liked other players content i often lost interest in watching lol players 100% win streaks on youtube because its like watching some sad marie sue, boosted fantasy with main character syndrome, getting only glory and you never really see the grind or how well their ego holds when things arent going their way.
Dont get me wrong i can’t imagine watching a loss streak would be all that entertaining either, but with bauss, it truly is far more interesting when it leaves you guessing whether it’ll become a win or loss, just another little touch that keeps this channel watchable verses others you start to forget about.

@@ethosterros9430No, you want to die a lot to make your deaths worth less gold to the enemy which means a bigger gold lead in the end. Also this puts a bounty on the enemy team that can be taken by your team for even more gold.
@@ideadlift20kg83 yea it's a cool theory but in practice if they can actually play like humans they shouldn't lose. It's an idea predicated on inting being an expectation. That's why bauss got absolutely dumpstered and was the lose con for their team in that tournament drut hosted. Also hes picking champs that scale and are good at split pressure to begin with. Sion being the worst offender because he literally needs to be answered by multiple people and cant be ignored and persists after death too so counter kills and wave clear.

Bausen's law is just a response to the scaling mechanic in the game. The idea is that lategame champs are bad early, so getting a ton of resources early is extremely risky and will likely get you killed. Bausen's law is accepting all of that risk, and getting as many resources early as possible. The idea is that by dying your opponent gets stronger, and by getting the resources you would otherwise be denied, you get stronger. Essentially you are attempting to skip the early game by having both of you get more gold and exp faster than normal. The catch is that you are a lategame champ, so you beat them past the early game. This means that you can give ground, and then win it back later when you are stronger. So if you want to beat this strat, play a lategame scaling champ that is better than Sion early.

Because it makes everyone else to work harder because he refuses to do anything but push waves and feeds too much. Like theres a portion of his style that's genius but the rest of it is bad. Is basically split pushing with a champ who is good at it but also feeding thousands of gold to the enemy and a rumble even getting most of it. His gold doesnt mean anything when it's not contributing to important fights. Subtract gold fed from your own gold and you have your net gold total. It's the same reason most udyrs are shit is they dont know how to teamfight either. Ultimately the team that wins is the team that has a better 5v5 it's very rare for side wave to be the true deciding factor in a game. I've known a lot of side lane heroes and the game is never decided by them. It's always their team 5v4 and maybe he cleans up a kill here and there or the enemy responds wrong or misplays. I never lose to this style unless whole team is trolling and wont listen to my calls. You squad him with specific characters on your team at specific times and if hes good at living you force a fight on the other side hard. Then again I dont play champs with 0 cc aka 0 true agency so I can force those fights while a yi player just rolls over when his coin flip lands tails. The fact that the alistar is challenger and doesnt know how to handle a sion is embarrassing. You can 2 man him with your ad or yone even since hes got tp for cross map. It's just hilarious watching these guys get fed for free and him going unpunished late game for such bad positioning.
Very good video. I think it showcased both the benefits of this tactic and also the volatility of a game where this much money is on the enemy. It also shows how this tactic is so good with sion specifically. I struggle to imagine another champion quite as good at executing this.

This is actually so tilting. A random Sion did it in my games in Wild Rift, bro was litteraly feeding my lane then farming and taking plates with his passive and he ended up being 1k gold ahead even though I had 4 kills
It's tilting, but that's just how the system is. Blame Riot if anything, Baus is just exploiting the system they made and using it to his full advantage

doesn't this law really hurt teamplay if the jungler is playing smart? because jungler can get fed and ahead on the top lane and dominate other lane, even though the guy using this law is the benefactor?
So long as your jungler plays botside its easy to counteract. This game for example the enemy JG spent a lot of time and resources topside and Baus still had gold lead. If enemy jungler gets ahead (Which due to his KDA isnt going to be by too much) J4 can spend uninterrupted gank time and invade time botside and strongside his bot. This eventually leads to Baus ahead, enemy jg losing camps and drake pressure, Baus botside ahead, and j4 extra gold. Team synergy is a big area of benefit if playing cohesively.
in theory at least, your team would be ahead elsewere since the jungler is camping your lane to get 50 gold, but yeah if your team sucks already its hard
as long as your team is even it's good
j4 was 1.5k gold behind
xerath was 500 gold behind
adc was 2,2k gold behind
supp ws 300 gold ahead
baus was 700 gold ahead
so they were like 3.3k gold behind as a team 14min into the game
with a 12 kill dissadvantage
ie enemy team had their ENTIRE lead into kills
with bounties
meaning if bauses team every cashes in the bounties they skyrocket in the lead or at the least even out the game
this is 2 kills worth basically to nullify enemy team "winning" every lane
ie enemy team was playing really poorly despite getting a bunch of kills
this is a combination of all 3 jungle top and mid being very bad at pushing lanes
while red teams sion xerath being very good at pushing lanes
meaning that blue team has to play perfectly while red can take their time and make mistakes
basically a comp dif and a big one
that being said baus does this regularly and with very high consistency
he pulls a lot of pressure top side and rarely lets his tower get touched
he also doesn't miss cs so enemy team farms bounty on him while he loses nothing
and once he cashes in the bounty he is significantly ahead
and since sion scales really hard him bouncing back means enemy team has a very poor chance of catching back up
something like running a marathon and you deciding to sprint up the hill (what blue team basically did)
