@OmarMohamed. wtf are you talking about? Of course it's a quote from the short.....that's whys I said you quoted the video and added a skull. How dense are you 😂
My parents actively open them and refuse to close any door that doesn’t need a key to lock I swear my ma’s clostrophonic with how unwilling she is to close doors even after she yells at the animals to stay in the room
I remember when my dad left the door open and I slammed it shut out of anger. He came back into my room and called me an idiot, I was this close to punching him right in the face 😂
You don't slam doors unless you own the house bro. And even then, expect people to leave very quickly and spread rumours that you're mentally unstable lol@@H.K.5
My mom tried her hardest to do the tough approach Anytime I would be at the situation like this where I'm just relaxing and she would get on to me for it talking about back in her day I would just say thank you for giving me a better life And she would reflexively say "you're welcome" and then pause and then just walk away She's too sweet of a person to be a disciplinarian luckily for both of us I just respected her enough to listen to her
My mum just says I need to do the the same struggle as her for my kids bcs each generation needs to progress. I understand but we can progress and have moments of calm too. I don’t choose to struggle thanks.
The "you hungry?" part is so underrated straight after that barrage of insults, it's like the unconditional love side kicks in and remembers that the person receiving the insults is the offspring 😂
the parents that dont close the goddamn door when they leave, hit me the most. Every single fucking time, they just burst open like its FBI, interrogate you and dont close it when they leave Especially during bed, its like I'm being blinded by the fucking sun when they dont close the door
A lot of this was probably to with stress from work, and then having come home to cook, clean etc. Then they'd see you minding your own business, and would just unleash on you. My dad would make it a habit of doing this 1st thing every Saturday morning. Waking us up early on purpose to do chores, whilst literally lecturing the entire time. **UPDATE** Sorry to say that a lot of the responses seem to have completely missed the moral of this story. It wasn't so much about having to do the chores, but the process. Kids can be encouraged positively to contribute around the house. You don't know how it feels when you are helping but at least one parent is constantly lecturing, bringing you down and just making the whole act of doing chores a real misery. Born to do busy surgeons, me and my sisters literally had to bring ourselves up. Monday to Friday, I'd make them breakfast and dinner because my parents wouldn't even get home by 8, 9 or sometimes the next day. If we ever asked for anything, they'd go nuts. Doing chores - they'd go nuts. Go for a day out - it always ended with some 'motivational' story of hard work that would take all the joy out of the day out. I'll give you another example - god forbid if my dad's keys were misplaced or he couldn't find his glasses. The entire house would be woken up at 6AM just to look for his glasses, only to then find out they were in his suitcase all along. My story is giving light to the importance of positive and constructive communication.
The listing! I thought it was just my mum did that that, I swear. The moment I hear the words “I’ve been… “I prepare for about 30 seconds of stuff that I’ve heard before 1000 times
