    I'm passing one right now, and the pain is causing me nausea and the sweats. Very internal pain. I find that very hot showers help to mask the pain, and bring SOME relief (heads up for those suffering right now). Man, I don't care if you're a 7 ft. 300lb man, this WILL hamper your day and lay you out. Feels like I'm being jabbed with a shard of glass from the inside -- only way I can describe it..

      My wife is battling with kidney stones and she requested for this kidney guide KidneyStoneRemoval45.blogspot.de Within the last two months she`s had two lithotripsies with no succession breaking up her 7 mm stone. About two hours after using this, she discovered a difference the ache was subsiding later on that afternoon.?

      I have a weird question. Were you able to feel the kidney stone through the outside of the skin?

    • @Shaxuul
      @Shaxuul 4 роки тому +4

      @@Rowancraft3 No, kidney stones aren't anywhere near the surface of the skin to feel. The stone passes through what's called the "ureter tube" -- a tiny membrane that connects from your kidney to your bladder. Think of this membrane as a straw. Now picture a pebble passing through that straw -- only, the pebble is actually wider/larger than the straw it's passing through. The immense ache/pain is from the stone scraping along the ureter tube as it slowly inches its way to the bladder. But once inside the bladder, the pain usually subsides, and it's just a waiting game to pee it out. There's just a brief stinging sensation when peeing it out, though.

      @@Shaxuul Thank you for your response. For some odd reason it felt like I could feel it on the left side when I touched it but is there just muscle there around that area? I thought it might have been hernia because of that reason but I've had the kidney stone symptoms( pain in bladder and kidney, and it feels like something heavy is sitting on my bladder. It might be a big one because ive had it for almost a week.

      There are several suggestions to try
      drink lots of water.
      eat watermelon - that can reduce kidney stones naturally.
      try taking pomegranate seeds and drink coconut water - these help cure kidney stones .
      cut down on tomato, cucumber, radish and fizzy drinks.

      This is just superb, I have been researching "how many stages of renal failure are there" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Have you ever come across - Aiyibestoen Phenomenal Asset - (do a google search ) ? It is a smashing exclusive product for discovering how to improve your kidney function minus the headache. Ive heard some interesting things about it and my buddy got great success with it.

    Dr. Shenkman instills such trust and confidence and greatly reduced my anxiety about my situation. I haven't had any treatments or medical intervention (and I hope I won't have to) but I'm glad to know that such a knowledgeable and compassionate provider is at UVA (where I go for all my medical issues). Thank you for making this video.

    I went to the ER not knowing what it was. I was in severe pain. Had a CT scan right after getting put on an IV w/ morphine. Morphine took the pain from a 10 to a 0, but after it wore off (1 hour later) man oh man, the pain came back and they gave me Norco. DR said she didn't know when the stone would pass but it was 2mm, I think that's what she said, essentially the size of beta fish food, no lie. Ended up passing it through that same day. That tiny piece of minerals caused me to feel like I was dying. DR said this, in the future, if you have fever or vomiting with severe pain and no pain reliever is working, go to the ER.

      It was actually in July 2010 when I initially discovered that I`ve got a 4mm-sized kidney stone as assessed by the urologist based on the CAT scan results. My wife quickly got online to look into natural remedies and found KidneyStonesRemedy23.blogspot.com These formulations all work together to dissolve kidney stones, and it really works quick..

    How to differentiate between UTI and kidney stones.....I googled but most of the symptoms are same .. please help

    • @jacksonwrightmusic6805
      @jacksonwrightmusic6805 4 роки тому +4

      Believe me when I say, you'll likely know when it's a kidney stone. Unfortunately, most UTI's cannot compare in pain. You typically won't feel a burning sensation while peeing if it's a stone. The color and smell of your urine can clue you on whether its a UTI or not (UTI usually being cloudy and smelly). Best way to make sure though is get a urine test at a quick clinic. They can tell you if it's a UTI. Kidney stones require imaging though, which is a lot pricier and less readily available. Good luck!

      I've had UTIs right before a stone is about to comeout. My UTIs came with fevers, body aches & pain and blood in urine. Not fun. I think UTIs in men are typically caused by STD's, second is stone related.

    Drink plenty of water and maybe try a calsium citrate supplement which should neutralise certain things and prevent stones. Just make sure to get a citrate as that's the natural plant form of calcium in my understanding. Although always check with a professional person about these issues, instead of trusting only one source.

    The stent is the worst! Not that I have been cut open but I would have preferred giving birth multiple times over that pain both having it in and after taking it out, even worse. One of my biggest pet peeves is when doctors say that a stone never hurts when it is inside the kidney. Maybe this is true for most people but not for all. It absolutely can cause pain and it is beyond frustrating when your urologist tells you otherwise.
