The only seeds we consciously collect are marigolds. Foxgloves we just cut after blooming and scatter the seeds where we would like them to grow. All other stuff, helibores, st johns wort, budelija we just we just shake cuttings over a quite gravel area and let nature take irs course. It normally provides us with a steady stock of new plants for the next season. Most other things we take cuttings stick in a large comunal planter stuck in a south facing but shaded corner of the garden.
OMG I love your channel. How did you make your lovely seed envelopes? And the pics of the flowers are so pretty!. I love your shed and am working on organizing room in my basement for my seeds and planning. I overwinter many flowers in my basement but I also have a small greenhouse that isn't really usable till early spring when I can move things out, zone 6a. Getting caught up on past videos...
@@lisab.6818 Thank you so much for your lovely comments. I do love my shed now, it was just a boring, messy shed and then it developed a leaky roof and we were forced to sort it out! It’s such a valuable space now, hope you get your basement the way you want it too!
I hope your cold clears up soon. All of those beautiful veggies will help. Our cats are like Murphy, very good at reading time for breakfast, lunch and dinner 🙀
Title changed!! I bet you are a man, I should have run that title past my husband, he would have thought the same too!! Thanks for pointing it out, hilarious, mind you, it may have got more views!!🤣🤣🤣
@@MurphysGarden It's nice that you have a good sense of humour. I expected a telling off or to be censored. I only discovered the channel recently, but I love your content so I subscribed. Thank you for all the inspiration and entertainment!

I would love to see how you make your homemade resealable seed envelopes if you would like to share.

@@carlas872 Thank you so much, I’m already feeling better, it only lasted 48 hours, thankfully.
When I saw the title in my 'recommended' feed, I worried Kleenex was gonna be involved. Oops!
@@sc3pt1c4L Oh heck, I didn’t think of that! I’m changing the title!!! - you have dirty mind!!! 🤣

Now we're all wondering!
@@dianefields6056 It was entitled ‘How to collect your own seed’ but that could be misleading!!! 🤣
