Tasmania 14 Botanic Gardens & Womens Prison

Part 14 of 33 of a road trip from Brisbane to Tasmania, returning via Victoria's Great Ocean Road, Central Victoria, Great Alpine Road and Canberra.
Part 14 covers our last day in Hobart. We started with a return to the city and moved on to the Royal Tasmanian Botanical Gardens to enjoy its magnificent floral displays and extensive shaded lawn areas.
We then drove out to Glenorchy for lunch before visiting the Hobart Women's Prison. Much remains of the buildings and walls. Exhibits ably tell the convict story.
Since we were at Cascade we called at the Cascade Brewery and then drove part of the way up Mount Wellington to try for some better photos than those taken on the day of our arrival in Hobart.
