In Florida, people eat outside year-round. They just eat a little later and in the shade in summer. Regardless, this restaurant added a big chunk of indoor square footage so it’s all good.
I liked it before. The colors were nice, it looked to be in good shape. I think the open-air patio was a good idea, except in the summer. Very bizarre makeover.
This is the first reno of my favorite couple that I really do not like. It was more elegant before. The way it looks now I would not think its a restaurante but some sport spot. Also, people hate eating food sitting on high stools, so I think its this one was there first real error.
They (HGTV) probably don't have new episodes to upload but want to keep their YT channel active for the algorithm. It's an old episode since Ben still hasn't lost the weight in this one.
the windows seem clunky and the dark aluminium obstructs the view...what about using just clean clear glass with bi-fold or cantilever or pass through lift top function so that the glass can go away when needed but then closed when needed? more comfy seating lounge style would have been better than simply bar seating. most people in that area even the owners seem to have weight and mobility issues so those small bar stools are not comfortable for anything more than a quick drink while you wait for an actual table.
@@stephaniehandler5346 I realise they are expensive but its an investment and I totally understand it may not have been in their budget, though when they do screened it porches for houses they keep within budget so that would have been an option too. I disagree about the lounge seating. right now they have two or three tables...they could have seated a lot more people on the floor with proper seating without losing the bar seating...but also accommodated comfort by getting better stools. American diners have low standards so this is an upgrade but I lived in Australia on the water my whole life where there are promenades of cafes and restaurants on the water and I know for certain the layout and seating choices could have been a LOT better.
@@stephaniehandler5346 you sound bitter. is it that hard to admit you tried to lecture to me when it wasn't called for? I know what I am talking about, and I don't need a lecture from you who clearly has a limited capacity not only for thinking but for generosity. good luck!

I'm gonna put that on a tee shirt, so cool
Nice touch to sit and look at the river. May needs some lights to twinkle in a few trees on the river. Thanks Ben and Erin.

They said it was only useable 2 months of the year as it was either too hot or too cold.

why so many repeat uploads?

Doors like you want are very expensive. So are lounge style seats, more so than barstools, and would not accommodate as many people.

@@DiamondBodyHealingobviously there are lots of other possibilities for seating, but I responded to the ones you mentioned.

@@DiamondBodyHealing that's not bitter, you're defending yourself by bringing in outside information. Don't be so defensive.
Nah this outside looks really bad. Like real bad. It looks so old now and like an ancient building
Coaches corner needs a plater with fried pickles, cheese sticks, chicken wings some kind of dip ,and beerbatter fish and french fries
yep, because they all need more salt and fat. Is everyone in the southern USA morbidly obese? Except Erin.
gross!!
IDK about this makeover??

What a load of rubbish.
Can't break the laws of something that doesn't exist. Why are you doing this here? Rude!
