We should look at how they got there not just looking at their mains. Imagine Daigo using Karin, she will get Nerf to death after a season.
What is Logansama smoking, Punk has already lost to Sako twice in tournaments in the past month. He also lost to Itazan. It’s not as if he’s on an invincible win streak. He did not win any of the recent premier and ranking tournaments he participated in.
Leon Tartovsky he‘s still non the less very consistent. And you mentioned sako and Itazan as they are scrubs, they definetly aren‘t though. And Bonchan here putting in some awesome work but it could have gone either way. I‘m thankful they gave us such an amazing grand finals, can‘t wait for evo!
WOW!!! Clutch gameplay from both these guys! Punk finally folded under the pressure. I respect many of the Japanese players ability to keep it together when the match gets intense. This match up almost gave me a heart attack lol

What a Nail-biter! As far as Top-Tier Mirror Matches go, this is the best-of-the-best of recent in raw skill and xter match-up. Bonchan had the greater momentum of the 2 and had the better reads from obviously studying his opponent more than most. Nonetheless Punk really brought it back in the 2nd set and strangely enough this outcome was reminiscent to EVO 2017 where he beat Tokido in Winner's Final only to lose to him in Grand Finals. My MVP for the Tourney is definitely Machabo, his skill and consistency with Necalli in Tournaments has been growing in leaps and Seismos. I'd also keep an even closer eye on Infexious too, best new player of the Tournament. WTF moment for sure goes to Angry Bird Ibuki, nearly flipped the script on Machabo from 2 sets down.
Yeap. Eventhough devs are doing horrible job of keeping the game balanced and Rashid and Karin are the most uninteresting and broken characters, which I would just delete with pleasure, this is still the best fighting game as of now. Not even a debate.
Incredible set, drama, roll coaster of emotion, back and forth, HYPE, excitement, despair, joy.. just everything you desire in a grand final, Amazing work Punk and Bonchan

Incorrect you can't finish someone with chip damage. Unless you are saying he would use a super for a chip then a normal. But a blocked super=punish by the other guy so even that way your logic is flawed.
Karin is top tier in the hands of a top tier. Yes, she have some big damage and good buttons, but you need either the reads, the reactions, the insane whiff punishes, or all of the above in order to win.
